I'm think SJP looks shapeless, Posh looks slightly underdressed and Cameron Diaz looks fab in her silver sparkles Sigourney Weaver looks as statuesque as ever

OP posts:

I've said it before and I'll say it again. That girl from Glee is SO beautiful.

Romilly70 · 08/03/2010 16:06

Why is Kelly Osborne channelling Mrs Slocombe with that Lavender barnet?

LOVE Demi Moore, she carried off that nude shade the best imho.

Hope I look as damn sexy and elegant as Dame Helen Mirren in my 60's

Hilary Swank - Trailer Trash

SJP can do no wrong in my eyes, cos Carrie Bradshaw can break all the rules with chutzpah (roll on SATC 2)

Elton John must have had a right giggle as he invited both Posh & Jordan for extra publicity to his party. At least Posh has been carefully studying the 1950's haute couture poses. Jordan just looks a Loaded cover. Sheesh.

EggyAllenPoe · 08/03/2010 16:08

ooh penelope cruz in a lovely wine coloured gown that i have to like, because it is quite like my wedding dress...

agree re: the pale silver armani prive sported by jlo and Seyfried are far too bridal, and that colour is very dull for a red carpet gown.

where is Kelly Osbournes' gown?

EggyAllenPoe · 08/03/2010 16:10

oh and nice style but why such a blardy boring colour?

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 08/03/2010 16:15

Miley Cyrus. Now I know her dad has a mullet but even accounting for that childhood role model her outfit and syling is desperate. How old is she? 6917?

Mariah - gotta love her for always getting her tits out. If it ain't broke,..

Kate Winslet looked fab in a very safe way

BariatricObama · 08/03/2010 16:22

the close up of sjp wrist and hand is terrifying

ShowOfHands · 08/03/2010 16:24

Kelly Osbourne

EggyAllenPoe · 08/03/2010 16:34

ooh i really like this purple one

MmeLindt · 08/03/2010 16:46

Is it just me or does Kelly Brook look like she is about 3'0 in SOH's link?

I like Kelly Osborne's dress but her hair is weird.

Romilly70 · 08/03/2010 17:19

EggyAllenPoe yes I thought the purple dress on Mel B was really tasteful. (I almost didn't recognise her as there was no leopardskin in sight...)

BTW, (to no-one in particular) Can I lick Colin Firth please?

EggyAllenPoe · 08/03/2010 17:27

i just thought that outfit was a rare case of a sleb wanting just one more accessory rather than one fewer. very lovely, sufficiently eye catching for a Big Do. shame she wasn't off to the Oscars,,,

all that silver/nude/beige....yawnnnnnnnnn

leavingonajetplane · 08/03/2010 17:38

Liked Mariska Hargitays dress the best

justjared.buzznet.com/2010/03/07/mariska-hargitay-oscars-2010-red-carpet/

SJP just needed to be a different height for that dress - as one commentator said, it looked made for Nicole Kidman

bicep · 08/03/2010 17:55

MmeLindt - I agree & from some angles (the side) Kelly Brooks dress looks like it is tucked into her knickers.

leavingonajetplane · 08/03/2010 18:03

and Meryl Streep elegant as always.

Miley is wearing something someone 40 years older might suit

piprabbit · 08/03/2010 18:48

bicep - I'd been wondering why the dress tucked into pants look made her more stylish than posh and jordan according to the website.

Pennies · 08/03/2010 19:33

Paula Patton looked ace IMO - 7 months pregnant too.

Here

AuldAlliance · 08/03/2010 19:52

Demi Moore looks nice.
But she looks nothing like Demi Moore.
She is completely unrecognisable.

Georgimama · 08/03/2010 20:04

Kate Winslet's frock looks lovely in the DM link picture but in others I have seen today it looks like the skirt is a completely different colour to the top, and looked really odd. I am going with "meh". She is stunningly beautiful though, and more so every year.

I loved Sigourney W's dress but not the colour. Favourite is Sandra Bullock's frock. Again, Cameron Diaz looks great in the picture on the DM link but in others I have seen the dress looked a bit small. Mariah Carey's dress was very 1990s and a size too small.

All the women wearing Chanel look dreadful. All of the Chanel on that red carpet is horrid. How has that happened?

Demi Moore must have a horrific portrait in the attic, she really must.

bicep · 08/03/2010 20:21

"Demi Moore must have a horrific portrait in the attic, she really must."

how come? I don't get it

I do really like Demi Moore's dress, love the layers and ruffles but colour wise it is a bit drab.

And I do love Kelly Osbournes dress too, she looks lovely and glam.

Georgimama · 08/03/2010 20:31

Er, because she looks really young? Unnaturally young? Like Dorian Gray?

Kelly Osborne looks like a transvestite Marilyn Monroe tribute. Yuk.

JulesJules · 08/03/2010 20:34

I thought Vera Farmiga looked AMAZING, as did Anna Kendrick (liked the film too).

Hated SJP's dress and hair and scary witch hand.

Wanted to shout 'stand up straight and pull your shoulders back' at some of those hunchy teenagers, e.g.Miley and Kristen. What is the point of wearing a million dollars worth of frockage if you can't STAND UP STRAIGHT??

Too many people in silver or washed out nude shades, although I did think Sandra Bullock looked great, and her speech was the best by far - gracious, witty and moving.

Georgimama · 08/03/2010 20:36

Kristen Stewart's dress was lovely and a brilliant colour on her. Doesn't sufficiently counter act the fact she is a stroppy child in the process of biting the hand that feeds her. Thank God she actually did something decent with her hair though, unlike at the BAFTAs.

Miley Cyrus' skirt was beautiful. Pity she forgot to put her top on.

squeaver · 08/03/2010 20:39

oH yes Kirsten Stewart - please God don't let dd become a teenager like that.

Mumsnut · 08/03/2010 20:44

Did The Fish hint that the blog was back?

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 08/03/2010 20:55

ooh yes, the blog. I do hope Do It Now You Slattern makes a return

Think Fish
