Can you wash ugg boots?

In the washing machine, that is. Mine are manky beyond belief, but still in good order otherwise. Have never come across a suede cleaner that works well enough and to be quite frank they are a bit stinky too. Anybody ever done this, does it work?

I don't know, was wondering same but didn't want to risk it - have just bought a new pair to replace mine which have almost worn out after millions of wears, so might try it with old pair as an experiment and report back..

I wash mine on a wool wash/hand wash cycle with this product.

I found they did shrink slightly but not enough to stop me wearing them again.

imho, I wouldn't....They advise you to protect them prior to wearing and through wear to keep them rainproof iykiwm...so therfor I guess washing is a no no...

aren't they suede..? suede and masses of water don't match.

I may be wrong though!

If you can wash baby sheep skins surely you can wash Uggs too, non??
Personally, I would risk it using wool/leather soap as suggested above, spin on low speed and then airdry with repeated manual fluffing.

I'm going to try this too, mine are pretty mank so if they get ruined it's no biggie, they're pretty much at chuck out stage anyway.

Ive washed the kids £5.99 ones from tescos on a normal wash. they come out like new.

Did it. Turned out fine. That's £170 I don't have to spend this winter.

My SIL did this, they turned out OK although they did fade somewhat! She is still wearing them though!

what setting did you wash them on..and what detergent did you use please..also are they deckers uggs?

I have celt boots (from the site linked to) and they used to advise washing with Dreft. I just use handwash powder and low heat setting.

Sorry for delay.

Authentic biegey coloured Ugg boots purchased in Oz. Washed with one Tesco non bio tablet on "sports shoes" (30 degrees) setting followed by a full spin as they absolutely soaking when the first cycle finished.

They're absolutely fine. A couple of (grease?) marks haven't come out, but they are definitely cleaner and most importantly, the inside no longer reeks of my feet. Go for it.

I can't think that they are at those prices. There is some dodgy spelling on the website too which always rings bells for me.

That said, I've put some Tiffany earrings in my basket. I was about to spend £150 on them so if I can get them for £30 and my ears don't fall off, I'll consider that a bargain.

Has anyone bought from it?

Have ordered 2 pairs of earrings, as long as they're silver I don't care if they're actual Tiffany as I just need some more pairs and like the design! Will report back..

Paid with paypal, just in case it's all dodgy. The recipient showed up as Junmin Liu which makes me highly (and possibly unfoundedly) suspicious of these being knock offs. We will see!

The best thing for getting grease out of UGGS is chalk dust,sounds strange but it really works.

Sprinkle the chalk dust over the grease stain,leave for about an hr then brush off with a suede brush.

Just stuck my UGGS in the washer so am awaiting to see what they look like when they come out. (worried emoticon)

Seriously - you're washing your uggs in the machine? This changes everything. I was poised to buy a replacement pair as mine are filthy. Tempted to wash and go now...

Question: How do you dry them? Leave to stand? or peg 'em up?
