In the washing machine, that is. Mine are manky beyond belief, but still in good order otherwise. Have never come across a suede cleaner that works well enough and to be quite frank they are a bit stinky too. Anybody ever done this, does it work?

Under a running warm tap, use shampoo or fairy liquid and a medium stiff brush dry with a towel then put out in the sun to dry.

I can't get the greasy stains out if mine. They where fine in machine but not as fluffy and still greasy stains. Also what's the name of the cheap site. Thanks x

I know this is an old thread but thought some wise mumsnetters might know the answer. I've washed my uggs in the WM and am very pleased with the outside, they've cleaned up lovely. Inside however they're still a bit pongy (perhaps from taking nearly 4 days to dry properly) and in the sole area where the sheepskin has moulded to my feet it's a bit squashed and matted.

I'm thinking of chucking a load of bicarbonate of soda in then hoovering it out, but how to get them fluffy again?

Any advice anyone?

Have just put mine in the wash after they got pummeled by rain on the school run today, hoping this might rescue them?

I had planned to try and fluff up the inner sole with a soft brush, bookworm, but your idea sounds better.

Has anyone had a NEGATIVE reaction with putting Uggs in wm ? I've got beige/tan knee length with fur top edging & tassels - I'm thinking maybe put each boot in a pillowcase 1st ?
