OK number one is beautiful. Hope you are a size 10 or smaller though (not being bitchy honestly but you would need to be either very petite or very tall and skinny for that to work).

SoupDragon · 24/02/2009 14:35

Green one is horrid school dinner pea colour, and I suspect it would drape badly on anything other than a stick insect.

The second one is best forgotten about.

Third one is nice but dull. Perfect for work meetings in that case

georgimama · 24/02/2009 14:35

I just thought that about the purple Chloe! I've never looked at net a porter before, I wish I hadn't now!

TheThoughtPolice · 24/02/2009 14:40

1st one perfect if you have long red hair and are 6ft2 and weigh 8 stone wet through. Forget it if you are not all of the above.

2nd one is rank. Looks cheap

3rd one is very sexy secretary. It looks v fitted/tight. Only good if you have a perfectly flat tum

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 24/02/2009 14:55

I'm a size 10 but I agree it could look unflattering on, I'd only ever wear it with massive heels which will help, I'll see when it arrives.

I quite likes the tailoring on the third one and think it could look great with a bright wool coat, bright shoes and chunky accesories.

that's how I wear my BHS version (which has a thin plastic black belt). I like it anyway, Primark, pay no attention to the rest!

ClareintheCommunity · 24/02/2009 15:08

what kind of office are you in?

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 24/02/2009 15:15

Not an office, I work from home freelancing but often have to go out for meetings. Some are very informal, a chat over coffee etc, but some are very formal (when I'm trying to get a contract)

First one, I'm thinking SACK, but heck, prove me wrong! Second one, Dennis on speed. Third one, sexy if the colour doesn't make you look like a corpse...even then, necrophilia chic could be the Next Big Thing?

brimfull · 24/02/2009 15:18

I like the 3rd one ,agree it will look lovely with bright jacket .

atowncalledalice · 24/02/2009 15:21

I like (love) the first one. Not keen on the other two.

rolandbrowning · 24/02/2009 15:29

I'm obviously a bit weird, but I like the 2nd one best.

hoxtonchick · 24/02/2009 15:40

i have the purple chloe one too . love it.

woodenspoon2 · 24/02/2009 15:44

TopShop one baaaaad (in a bad way not a good way). Hey, hc, knew you'd be on this thread.

francagoestohollywood · 24/02/2009 15:57

Penthe I love the see by chloe dress! And how comes that on sunday I nearly tried another chloe dress (with flowers) totally similar but twice expensive? Since when buying clothes have been cheaper on NAP????????????????

The green dress is lovely devil

francagoestohollywood · 24/02/2009 15:58

sorry my english all over the place.

Molesworth · 24/02/2009 16:08

You're not alone rolandbrowning. I'm questioning my own taste after reading this thread

mrsmaidamess · 24/02/2009 16:08

Like the first one...second runs the risk of looking square (I mean fuddy duddy not with 4 right angles) 3rd....very Victoria Beckham circa 2008. But not in a bad way. Oh and make sure your Mary janes have hidden platforms. As in sole, not train station.

The green one is lovely but will look much better on me than you, so don't bother buying it...the other two are going to make your bust and your bum look enormous, is that nasty enough?

DrNortherner · 24/02/2009 16:15

Personally I love all 3 and would wear all 3. I think the last one for work with some amazingly high funky coloured shoes would be just perfect. Very sexy. You don't need over the top for work imo.

Buy all 3!

TheDevilWearsPrimark · 24/02/2009 16:15

Oys I've already bought the first one.

Still umming and ahing about the third, I might have to order it just to see how it fist.

OP posts:
TheDevilWearsPrimark · 24/02/2009 16:16

But I agree, the second one would probably look nice on DD, maybe not me.

OP posts:
TheDevilWearsPrimark · 24/02/2009 16:17

Drnorthener, you are naughty. The aim of the thread was to stop me buying any of them.

OP posts:
BitOfFun · 24/02/2009 16:18

I wouldn't be offering fisting in that TDWP, it's a niche but oversubscribed market
