How many handbags do you own?

DH says I have far too many. I want to sort this out once and for all.

I am just seeing if he's right or not.

do you have large feet? i was reading today that if your feet are bigger than a size6 you're more likely to be a bag (rather than shoe) person.

Several, but some are reserved for special occasions. My "daily bag" gets worn out and changed quite frequently.

about 15 - 20, I think.

But I regularly use 5 or 6 of them.

I normally buy one, wear it out then buy another.

Although I would LOVE to just have loads as I adore handbags

1 Red, 1 green,1 purple, 3 diff shades of brown, 4 black, one black and white, one white,one brown and black, 6 evening bags (clutches, beaded etc), 1 mustard, erm and a few others, so at least 20.

A lot less than the number of shoes/boots which is ever getting closer to the 100 mark.

15-20 handbags, going back to 1981.

25-30 pairs of shoes, going back to 1992.

A general largeish one for every day thats getting a bit sad and I'd like to replace it.

Greek leather satchel thing that I use most days.

Tan leather one that my sister gave me - use when I am wearing my brown boots.

Red one from Next from SIL - don't use very much as dd1 has commandeered it.

Grey knitted one - use it in the Autumn when I wear a grey jacket.

Gucci one - use it about twice a year, maximum.

Teeny tiny black one that fits money and keys only - use for parties: maybe twice a year.

I am so not a bag lady!!!

Am a size 6 shoe and I reckon I have as many bags as I have shoes..

Haven't counted but would reckon 50+ on each

i'm going to show dh this thread - he thinks I'm excessive!

I've got 2 evening bags (cheapo accessorize jobs),

one black leather bag, one over the body bag, one big brown leather bag, one little brown leather bag,one brown shoulder bag and 2 canvas bags.

And a briefcase.

so 10 in all.

I thought at first that I didn't have many bags. But have just counted and I have more than 30.. oops. Plus at least 30 pairs of shoes.
My feet are 7.5 by the way. I reckon a 5 is the optimum size for looking nice in shoes, I'd love to have the feet for dainty shoes!!
