How many handbags do you own?

DH says I have far too many. I want to sort this out once and for all.

I am just seeing if he's right or not.

But has anyone answered this question, where do you keep them all? How can you remember what you have and find easily?

I counted my prs of shoes, I have 16 and that includes 2prs of wellies and 2 prs of cycling shoes, etc. A lot of others are ~20 yrs old and I only keep them for the rare dress occasion. So people who have dozens of shoes and same again in handbags, I mean it, honestly, how do you keep them organised???

They are all up on the top shelf of the wardrobe, I have to get a step ladder to reach the lesser used ones.
I just remembered another one today that I didn't include in my previous total.

I have six bags, but a few were very expensive.
Back in the day I had over 30 cheapies!
It is nice to have a variety.

Currently ( and bear in mind I am not at home so can't be 100%) I would say 25.
Last year I gave 20 to charity. The year before it was 40 (that I gave away)

When I lived in spain I had loads. I coujdnt take them all home so I asked all my friends round, piled them in my room and let them take them.

67 bags went that day, I took home 4.

It's pretty bad!

Actual proper grown-up-lady handbags? 1 that I think will pass as such.

I have quite a lot of hold-all type things. I like canvas tool bags for work, and trolleys. I have a few of those (for work).

yes, my DH jokes because I have 3 wheeled trolley bags for work- but we have cupboards full of his precious 'CD Collection that we never listen to more than a third of..ever!
