sahms, what do you tend to wear in the day? i fancy getting myself a bit more dressed up than usual

i often wear jeans and trainers, today ive got like a swing double button cardi thing on too.

but i fancy getting a bit more dressed up
what do you think, would it look silly?

what sort of things could i go for that are a bit more dressy but in a causualish way?

hope you know what i mean?

that sounds lovely. see, that where my style is so lacking in imagination - I thought black leggings or jeans grey tights are soo much nicer!
well, ds is off school ill today so I won't get in to town maybe tomorrow

i'd probably wear heels with the jeans though, as long as it wasnt too icy out

hi girls, how are you doing today?

didn't post on here yesterday as i was having a lazy day.
didn't do my hair put any make up on and wore scuffy clothes

but today im in the grey knitted dress and boots again, hardone and a small bit of make up feel much better today.

really need to buy some more clothes now though.
only have 2 knitted dress and one shirt dress which is casual enough for in the day.
i do have some nice new skinkky jeans could do with some new tops. will post a thread for some ideas

all bargains, my ouiset jeans were 25 quid down from 100, the shirt was 8 quid in primark and the boots were £15 in a sale last year (dd1 got them for me for a xmas gift)

lou33, i got the jumper dress from Quiz today, I love it! got another one as well, I actually saw loads of them today - the things we can do/see when we are out shopping without DC's eh?!

well thanks to this thread, I am wearing a grey and black slash neck jesey dress with black leggings and black boots and I feel goooood
I also feel about 10 years younger (just hope I don't look like mutton drssed as lamb)

why would it look silly? I wear the same things at home as I would if I was going out to work - although I never had to dress up hugely for work, I usually wear decent trousers or skirt and nice tops.
