sahms, what do you tend to wear in the day? i fancy getting myself a bit more dressed up than usual

i often wear jeans and trainers, today ive got like a swing double button cardi thing on too.

but i fancy getting a bit more dressed up
what do you think, would it look silly?

what sort of things could i go for that are a bit more dressy but in a causualish way?

hope you know what i mean?

I have made much more of an effort these last couple of months and ditched jeans in favour of skirts/dresses and boots. I do feel better for it.

Just put a finger through my fave wool tights though

Today I've got skinny-ish dark jeans tucked into brown flat biker boots,with green long sleeved top from New Look under a short jersey dress in green/blue/purple from Warehouse.When i went t o school earlier I added chunky bley/green sleeveless cardigan from Topshop and grey beanie.(was in car).All very casual,none of it expensive(boots the dearest) and warm!
I love layers,thats why I prefer winter clothes!

I always try and glam myself up. I don't mean in a cocktail dress during the daytime BUT usually by wearing black jeans/trousers and a nice smart/casual top.

Makes me laugh when I attend B&T groups and get comments such as "oh are you off out somewhere" . Like...just because im a sahm it doesn't mean I have to wander around with half of my dd & ds's dinner down my back

Was a sale bargainfrom a fancy boutique that I frequent at sale times!
It is by Sandwich and originally was £100 reduced to £55 in the sale,with another 20% off when I got to the till!
Was very pleased,I can tell you

i do think some people have a natural eye for style.

do so today i am wearing dark blue skinny jeans and a burgundy knitted top that is fitted with a cowl neckline.
no make up, as i just can't be assred even though i suppose it would only take about 2 mins

I wear smart denim skirts a lot also with chunky jewellary ( think jewelllary does a lot to change an outfit) and smartish tops. Trying to steer away from blakc a bit too. Sometimes just changing your handbag and shoes can work wonders too

Usually at fairs/shoparamas etc i.e. at individual sellers rather than retailers. I live in london so good choice of individual sellers as they often have unusual ( not expensiev ) pieces.
