Cerave.

Ratherhaveacupofteaandabiscuit · 06/10/2026 08:28

Another cerave user here.

emuloc · 06/10/2026 08:30

I only use black soap, on my face, body, and hair. I love it, and it is a natural product, as well.

Autumnallaround · 06/10/2026 08:33

Cerave. I use it like a hot cloth cleanser though as I don't like water on my face, so just remove it with a just about damp flannel.

Its the SA smoothing cleanser. I use at night and follow with the cerave peptide night cream.

I think you need to outline your skin type if you want to get ideas on a potential new cleanser. For example Cerave has been mentioned by pp and lots of people like it - but it does not work for my skin type at all.

I have dehydrated but acne prone skin (super annoying!) so I use Dermalogica clearing skin wash (after an oil cleanser by Mac). But that won’t work for those with different skin to me.

Cereve here too. Just run out and using something else and I can tell. The whole family use it (me, husband, teenage and 8 year old) and it helps with my 40+ dry skin. Feels lovely after use.

Olive oil bar soap from TKMaxx

Nihongo · 06/10/2026 16:44

I use Neutrogena gel cleanser from Boots.

It’s not expensive, takes my make up off and despite it being a gel has never left my skin feeling dry.

Cerave in the morning, and Superdrug Vit E hot cloth cleanser at night.

WhosGotTheKeysToMyBimma · 06/10/2026 16:47

Superdrug vit e

moggiek · 06/10/2026 16:48

Whichever handwash is on the sink at the time 🤣

searchforthesun · 06/10/2026 16:52

Cerave

IwanttoWFH · 06/10/2026 16:53

I use the Body Shop’s camomile cleansing balm. Then, a Korean brand named Yepoda for my second cleanse (double bubble face wash)

RobinEllacotStrike · 06/10/2026 16:55

the Superdrug Hot Cloth Cleanser - in a green tube/box.
Simple effective gentle & £6 though usually on an offer of one kind or another - love it.

Meredusoleil · 06/10/2026 16:57

What's wrong with the Simple face wash? That's what I use 😉

Lostsadandconfused · 06/10/2026 16:58

A KBeauty oil cleanser (currently Skin1004) at night to remove sunscreen, followed by a gentle foaming cleanser, currently using Roundlab Dokdo cleanser.

I normally just rinse with water in the morning.

HeddaGarbled · 06/10/2026 17:06

The dribbles from hair-washing in the shower 😳

I don’t wear makeup, though.

user58643296 · 06/10/2026 17:07

Eve Lom cleanser and a hot muslin cloth.

seahorsessky · 06/10/2026 17:07

Aveeno

Wednesdaysotherchild · 06/10/2026 17:09

Neal’s Yard rose stuff

YessicaHaircut · 06/10/2026 18:28

Cetaphil gentle skin cleanser in the morning.
Double cleanse at night with Beauty of Joseon oil cleanser followed by Sea Magik gentle cleanser (from H&B beauty advent calendar!). I have combination skin which can get quite dry on cheeks, around eyes and on my forehead. I have used Simple cleanser but found it a bit drying for my skin.

nopiesleftinthisvehicle · 06/10/2026 18:31

Good old Dove.. "Beauty Bar"🤔

thenightsky · 06/10/2026 18:33

Cetaphil or Cerave, but they are both getting ridiculously expensive.

OllyBJolly · 06/10/2026 18:34

Another vote for the Superdrug Vit E Hot Cloth Cleanser. I'm 64, combination skin. It doesn't sting my eyes, and gets my skin very clean without drying out.

Often complimented on how clear my skin is.

whatareyoudoinginhereMax · 06/10/2026 18:35

Beauty of Josean green plum refreshing cleansing gel, it’s a Korean brand and I use a lot of their products. They’ve made a big difference to my skin
