I take my make up off with Simple wipes and use a warm flannel when I remember.

Mattsmum2 · 06/10/2026 18:39

Beauty of Josean green plum refreshing cleansing gel, it’s a Korean brand and I use a lot of their products. They’ve made a big difference to my skin

I use the eye cream and under eye patches, fab!
Off to research the cleansing gel…

Cetaphil or Cerave, but they are both getting ridiculously expensive.

Have you seen the refill pouches you can buy? I get the SA smoothing cleanser from cerave and you get two standard bottles out of one pouch. Got it from boots I think

PuffinIsle · 06/10/2026 20:41

I use Cerave.

willowstar · 06/10/2026 20:50

Cerave or Cetaphil. Me and my 17 year old daughter use it. I have sensitive skin.

Wallabyone · 06/10/2026 20:56

I use Nivea face wash and have done for years. It’s blue and in a big tube

Ihaveausername · 06/10/2026 20:57

Liz Earle cleanse and polish works for me

WhatDoRacoonsSay · 06/10/2026 20:58

Morrisons foaming tea tree.

WrinklesShminkles · 06/10/2026 21:02

Simple face wipe to get makeup off, then the Beauty of Joseon Green Plum gel wash lathered onto a slightly damp face and taken off with a wet flannel. It's lovely - slightly acidic and leaves skin very smooth.

Another vote for the Superdrug Vit E Hot Cloth Cleanser. I'm 64, combination skin. It doesn't sting my eyes, and gets my skin very clean without drying out.

Often complimented on how clear my skin is.

Firm agree.

though I prefer a hot flannel which is an excellent exfoliant as well as a bit steamy.

justasking111 · 06/10/2026 21:14

Marseille lavender soap creamy and gentle.

But I think genetics play a big part in the skin department.

heymammy · 06/10/2026 21:27

I use an Inkey creamy cleanser and dab it off with a hot cloth. When i remember.

Ninetwenty · 06/10/2026 21:28

Aqueous cream. I've tried lots over the years at all sorts of price points but always come back to this. £4 for a 500g tub in Superdrug.

ETA i use it like a hot cloth cleanser with a flannel and it leave my skin feeling clean and soft.

Cerave!

UbiquitousPistachio · 06/10/2026 21:34

Korres yoghurt cleanser feels really nice on my 52yo slightly dry skin.

When I’m feeling too lazy for water I use Nip and Fab glycolic exfoliating pads and they leave my sling feeling clean and fresh

Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel in the morning.
Remove make up in the evening with Dermalogica Pre cleanse or Ella and Jo Melt the Day Away, followed by the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel.
