I’m not keen on Kate’s dress.
I don’t think the colour suits her.
The necklace was nicer on Camilla in the slightly shorter length.
William’s double breasted velvet blazer is ghastly.
It looks too short or something.
A single breasted velvet blazer would be so much nicer.
I was expecting something as fabulous as the gold dress K wore to a premiere a couple of years ago.

To be fair to William, the jacket does look better on tv, plus Kate's dress moves beautifully.
Double breasted is not a favourite feature on these threads, it has to be said.

So much seldom worn jewellery to choose from! Purple reminds me of Quality Street!

@justasking111 I thought something looked off so it makes sense it was tweaked. I much prefer the original, too much fabric drowning Kate. I think she looks nice in purple though and like her hair off her face. I think the necklace is the wrong length though.

The necklace reminds me of the Titanic one.

Bit late but how amazing did Rania look in those shorts, I didn’t think anyone could pull them off!

Not keen on that dress with either style of sleeves, however at least it's not as bad as William's jacket - what on earth was he thinking?

The necklace is gorgeous and it's great to see Kate wearing a serious necklace for once, so I'm reluctant to nitpick - please wear these amazing pieces of jewellery more often Kate, I'm sure you'll get the hang of the styling - but it looked much better as Camilla wore it, draped carefully to sit a bit higher and with a neckline that showed it off properly.

I think Kate looks stunning. I saw a video clip of her walking and the beauty of the dress is all about the floaty chiffon movement.

Kate’s style is not my thing but I wish they would at least open the vaults & get more of the jewels out! Is it because they think it’s a bad move during cost of living? 😆

It wouldn’t offend me, I just want to see the gems!

Love the colour of the dress and the necklace.

I like velvet on but double breasted velvet is quite hard to pull off but points for being bold.

The amethyst necklace is a stunner.

I rather like Catherine’s look tonight and think the deep v-neck is a break from the norm.

Kate’s dress tonight feels like an updated version of this 2012 Packham dress.

The purple dress is apparently from JP's 2016 collection. That may explain the sleeves as cold-shoulder was quite in back then.
