It's been a little quiet on the exciting edit and beauty releases front what with all the advent malarky but summer is drawing to a close and soon those autumn/winter releases and holiday edits will be popping up to tempt us.

@wohmum @Beautyfox - were you able to get the bundle any cheaper than £116 please? I found a promo code but there is no box anywhere to enter it! I’m guessing that as it is heavily discounted already maybe there isn’t anything.

I haven’t purchased (yet) but I’ve had it in my basket since last week and haven’t been able to find a way of getting the price lower than £116.

@SunnyPinkMoose I think that was me re the Daylesford candles. Glad you are enjoying it - I lit mine last night too (well, I put it under one of those candle lamps - it really does have a great throw, I agree, I could still smell it this morning!). I paid full price for mine at the Daylesford shop itself but had a big Ocado order delivered yesterday and of course forgot to look if they still had any reduced stock left there!

I think £116 is the discounted price as it is normally £145.

No, i could't find anything cheaper than £116. It's a pretty good bargain at that rice though considering how much there is

Good morning, has anyone had a dispatch notification for Harrods FAC? Mine is still saying processing and I will not truly believe I got it until it actually gets here.
I know this is not the right thread to ask in, but I am still playing catch up on the BAC’s thread 🙈

Can anyone recommend a good conditioner for my thin, menopausal hair please? I’ve been using a Korean rosemary one which I really don’t rate, and previously used various Aveda ones but fancy a change. Bonus points if they’re not £££!! Thanks

Hi yes mine is coming this morning

My HFAC is still showing as in processing - it should have been dispatched yesterday according to the email I received when I ordered on 3rd August - my HBAC has however been dispatched when it was ordered on the same day so I’m feeling a little anxious will contact Harrods CS to ask why

Someone posted about the same issue in one of my fragrance FB groups and it appears quite a few people are in the same boat. Apparently it could take up to 2 weeks to dispatch.

My OMC GWP should be delivered tomorrow! Really excited for it!

I got a DPD notification yesterday so thought it would arrive today but no further updates so I don't think it is.

On this score Harrods could do with learning from Liberty and get the preorders out before the live sale. It's ridiculous that people who buy from the 1st Sep get them dispatched before people who pre ordered a month ago.

Trying to work through the backlog and finally decided to tackle the elasiticizer mountain. It says to put it on wet hair 20 minutes before washing...
What? Why would I have wet hair 20 minutes before I wash it, am I supposed to just hang about for 20 minutes, then have a shower/bath?
Presumably some of you have actually used this stuff, how do you use it?

I use a spray bottle to wet my hair with lukewarm water, then rinse off in the shower later.

I leave it on overnight. My hair loves it. 20 mins not enough for me. I shower, wet hair, work through,comb, then put in towel to take excess off. Let air dry then put in a slip bobble on top of head to sleep. I double shampoo day after then condition& style as usual.

I think you apply to wet so it soaks in better. X

I sometimes use a spray bottle - hair just needs to be damp really. And sometimes I'll stick my head upside down over the shower tray to just wet my hair - depending on how i feel at the time.

I also leave it on for closer to an hour, and preferably with a shower cap. So i tend to plan it for when I'm doing chores like a deep bathroom clean, or sorting loads of laundry! Then shower after and wash it all out 😁

I tried all this once with Elasticizer. Too much hassle even if it does work. 😂

@Insuffishcakes I wet my hair when I first get in the shower, then whilst waiting, scrub, shave, wash my face etc. I probably don't have it on for 20 mins but I definitely feel a difference. I tend to prefer overnight masks though. Christophe robin is my favourite 🥰

My hair long curly absolutely loves elasticiser. I sometimes use it as a leave-in instead of any styling products. I leave it to air dry and it looks fab.

@SummerLimes - I have definitely paid someone £15 and have an email confirmation and ticket for H Carnival so it had better be legit!
