This is exactly my thoughts too.
I’ve had Harrods the last 2 years and many many more over the years ( far too many probably but we don’t count do we ) 😜. This year nothing has caught my eye enough to commit as it’s that same combo of being a bit spoilt/it’s all looking samey.
Thinking I might just do a Frankenstein via Vinted so please anyone who is going to be selling Dm me your deets and I’ll buy from one of you guys as I’d be happy to pay the going rate for nice new products xx

I'm getting Phlur Cherry Stem in the Selfridges calendar @DidILeaveTheGasOn - I'm looking forward to it and it sounds like you recommend? The vanilla Phlur in Space NK last year wasn't for me, but this one sounds like just I want.

I like the idea of Vogue AC, but not the silver jewellery this year and the expensive socks and Longchamp coin purse is cute, but I wouldn’t actually use it. Hoping I love it next year, as the packaging is always stunning!!

Could the Vinted sellers please dm me your usernames? Need to stock up on bits for my stepdaughter’s boxes. They are so lucky that my 2 are simply pleased boys. Thank you ☺️

I’ve made £77 today selling bits I don’t want on eBay!! Which makes the price of my Harrods AC £193 🤣🤣🤣 More to offload and it will be nearly free by the time it arrives haha

@SocksAndTheCity It is a little medicinal initially, but that fades very quickly and then it’s a lovely cherry fragrance. I would recommend it if you can put up with the hospital ward scent for the first ten minutes. I am going to buy it again if I can’t find another cherry fragrance that does it better.

Vyrao Ever 11. I would say it's better than cherry stem - it's a deep, boozy cherry. Probably my favourite out of the vyraos (granted I have not liked many of them)

Has anyone received the fenwick BAC yet? I ordered it as a member and it looks like they are despatching straight away but I don't think anyone has had one yet - I'm hoping it will land next week.

Suprise offering from Fenwick as they have been a bit hit and miss lately but this looks good with a decent balance of skincare/makeup/frag

I ordered Friday morning and it was delivered today via DPD. Very happy with it and some lovely fragrances in it

It was standard delivery, first notification came from DPD saying they were expecting my parcel and unexpectedly delivered today as DPD was showing Monday on Saturday.

Delurking since being on holiday and could not previously contemplate advent season! I have been on previous threads and started with advent calendars about 10 years ago with Jo Malone, Liberty and Diptyque, and more recently Space NK and Look Fantastic. I am not brand loyal and go for the best looking / sounding advent of the year and this year am favouring Vogue. Just waiting on SNK, Sephora and Cult beauty to officially release before making final decision…

However could not believe Tatchas offering which I got an email about tonight. I do love their products and was interested in what they were going to offer but £278 for a £287 value?!! Really? What’s the point!
