The year the Fenwick stacked with a decent GWP was a good year, 2023? Wasn't last year the empty bag as GWP?

I’ve already ordered the Harrods BAC, I don’t know why I rushed to it as I know it took time to sell out last year, but there was enough to justify the plunge despite not knowing other retailers offers.

I had no interest in Sephora, CB or LF last year, but from what I’ve seen so far this year they have some good contents. I also really want the MBM palette.

I’m the same regarding the drip feed. There’s so many calendars, that I need to see a full list rather than have to try to remember a bit of what’s in this one or that to decide whether it’s in the running.

I’ve had another look at SNK, and although the few things I want total more than £200, I don’t know whether I can be bothered dealing with a huge pile to resell again, especially as part of that figure is the La Mer of which I already have a couple in my stash.
I’m interested to see what SNK’s FAC offerings are now; perhaps they focused their attention on this 🤞

I think of the mixed this are the biggies left. Fenwicks no longer has a store so maybe not?

i go out to look at an eclipse and come back to discover a flurry of activity on MN ….and spacenk calendar spoilers …luckily i saw the spoilers before BD had to pull it !!! its a no from me …sadly …was hoping it would be amazing but its not ☹️…harrods top of the pile now so far ….

We have a big Fenwick store in Canterbury. They are usually a bit later with their advent reveals

I'm not thrilled with SNK. Elle still top dog. CB isn't looking shabby despite shade of PTA, and the AoS is a winner for me

I just realised this evening I have £14 in loyalty points with HN so decided I'd better spend them. I could regret this if they fall over before it gets dispatched - why are their postage times so drawn out? Dispatched within 7 days for standard delivery!!!

I bought a Tom Ford eye quad on sale with extra 15% off then the £14 off on top. So £38 in total. Hopefully it will arrive.

Fenwick has several provincial stores though. The one in Colchester is great.

I just checked and Fenwick didn't go on sale until October last year. I remember I liked last years and was tempted but was committed to others by the time it went on sale.

I’ve just been back to check Liberty and Harrods again too.

I actually like the makeup selection in Liberty, but aside from that, there are just too many things that I’ve had before, and I don’t like facial oil, which is one of the big ticket items.

I’ve confirmed that Harrods doesn’t interest me at all this year. Partly because I already have the AB eye cream unopened in my stash, and at least 2 EGF serums. I also don’t want the Tatcha, the Phillip Kingsley, the eyelash curlers or the hairspray, and I don’t like the makeup shades, so it’s just not worth it to me.

I’ve ruled out Selfridges and Space NK too

Vogue is still a possibility for me though. I like the jewellery and think that my face could do with depuffing! 😂

Your reasoning is very similar to mine. I wouldn't say no to another AB eye cream as I really liked it but do I want the whole calendar? I wish Liberty had the AB retinol instead of the face oil, I don't like oils that much either. The Sisley seems like a bit of a strange product despite being high value. I don't really know how I'd use it.

Yeah, I think the Sisley product is like a toner, but in lotion form. It seems to get really good reviews, so it would be nice to try, but I think it’s one of those products that I would never remember to use. I already have stacks of toners that I never use!

Hmmm… interested to see more Cult Beauty, but I think it might be a no for me. I don’t like the lipstick, lip liner, blush or setting spray. The skincare is looking better, but I already have that Byoma cleanser, and a full size medik8 cream unopened in the stash from last year (although it might not be that exact cream).
