I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up. This is not working out so well. 😂

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.
It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

Just watched Really Rees harrods unboxing. I was hoping it was going to be one we have not yet seen😫
I feel like day 25 could be a little more exciting imo.

Yeah, I put eye serum on, then serum, then eye cream then moisturiser. Hopefully we can get a full size night cream from one of the other acs on vinted 🤞🏻 it seems to be the area in my stash that I struggle with. I say that, I do have a full size Murad, full size Elemis, 15ml Elemis and a full size medik8 to get through 🤭

They definitely made it sound like they were going to. I was hoping that those who didn't get it yesterday due to glitches / work getting in the way, would be able to grab it this morning.

I agree. Why have they put a teeny Tatcha in day 24 and a lipstick in day 25 exactly as they did last year?! There are so many luxury products in the calendar they could have saved for the finale.

The teeny Tatcha on Xmas eve last year I found puzzling. At that size it's a gift with purchase. Last year's Indigo cream was 5ml - in a drawer on it's own for the 24th. There's a lot I liked about the calendar but that's just poor curation.

I don't like it when they put things you get from GWP. If you are going to, at least do a double drawer with a couple of bits from the brand. I think I have about 3 pots of Tatcha minis from GWP.

I think they are holding back for in store only. The website has been updated and they have removed the fragrance one from the photo and state it’s sold out.

@JoRaRaRa and @pinkchampagne1 it's bizarre isn't it? Both ok drawers, just a bit meh - neither the most exciting or highest rrp, also both very well known / not innovative products. I guess we should be grateful the lipstick is more wearable this year. Last year's Mac Ruby Woo is still shoved in a drawer somewhere gathering dust. Over all though that video has convinced me I do want that calendar, despite the fact last night was a sleepless one so I looked over my spreadsheet just enough to confirm that no I do not really need any more stuff 😅

I think we all need to feedback to Harrods, it should be building excitement, not peaking early and leaving meh products 🤣

Was last year’s Tatcha only 5ml? I remember it was tiny. I think this year it is 15ml but still not the most exciting for Christmas Eve

I really didn't get the ruby woo in Christmas day. 6 days left of December, who wants a red lippy in January? That should've been day 1 or scheduled for the first Friday of December.

I totally agree. What are they thinking?!
I might have to switch the Christmas Eve and Christmas Day items around for some of the earlier more exciting days. Or maybe find something to add to them

I wonder if some brands have it written into the contract where in the calendar the placement will be? You'd think given free choice Harrods would stick something like the full size Valmont mask in Xmas eve.

Yes I agree, and even if they had the Sisley lipstick in day 25 rather than the Charlotte Tilbury that we have all had multiple times before

Oh yes that’s true. Might have to swap or add to them with tiny products if Ido that. Or maybe I will leave it as it is. It’s not like those 2 days are going to be a surprise! 😆

I think they must do. I think if Harrods had the choice, they'd put other items in CE and CD. But I think we should still feed back and hopefully next year it'll change 🤞🏻

The indigo cream was 10ml last year, so pretty small. @pinkchampagne1 I'm actually glad it's the CT lipstick rather than the sisley as that colour is absolutely going to make me look 10 days dead.

That said, if I was Harrods I'd be negotiating hard though - you want prime placement in the Xmas eve slot then you need to give us more than a teeny tiny cream.

This has just reminded me actually, @pinkchampagne1 I got the prime renewal pack out and started using it like you recommended, like a night cream, and I've changed my mind on it, it is very nice. I'm not sure it's rich enough for me for winter, but it's nice for summer.

Oh and I've just remembered, here's me saying my night cream stash is low, I bought a Augustinus Bader the rich cream set in the spacenk sale last year, so I have 45ml, plus the additional 15ml that I bought in the ftf mystery bundle 🙈 I don't think I need night cream as much as I thought I did.

Yeah, definitely. A full size product or 2 products that go together.

I suppose they may not care as it always sells out sooner or later. Maybe they'll rethink if there's ever a point the calendar doesn't sell out by December.

I think the CT one is going to look too light for me. I need to go test them out.

I just watched the reallyree unboxing. I'm torn on Harrods. Quite a number of things I would like but also a fair bit I'm not fussed over. The stuff that does interest me is all the very pricey skincare.
