I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up. This is not working out so well. 😂

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.
It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

Hi I ordered one fragrance calendar but it’s showing as 450 paid and one calendar ordered, this is on the website. I definitely only ordered one, has anyone else found this? The beauty harrod advent is showing as the correct price

Oh that's strange. Double check the quantity on your email, that's how much I paid for 2 fragrance calendars.

Did anyone go on the app this morning to see the update? I've just been on it and it now just refers you to the Harrods website

I think last year it was on the 1st sept, so I think it'll be that date again. I can't imagine them launching in store on bank holiday, but maybe they will 🤷🏻‍♀️

Im sorry for posting Fake News…. Harrods senior sales assistent Said to me last week that they have Will have Much more calenders Compare to last year. Does not seem to be the case as it was sold out within 2,5 hours

Sometimes they don't release them all at once to create a buying frenzy - or is Harrods just a bit shite I don't want to credit them with doing this strategically!

Please don't apologise 🩷 I don't think you were intentionally posting false information, I imagine you were just passing on what you'd genuinely been told and was included in rumours going round Harrods.

To be honest, I wasn't sure how much stock information would be shared with sales assistants anyway, especially as Harrods seemed to keep the information around it so tightly under wraps. My buying assistant friend, who works in the same office as the beauty buying team and is a big gossip, said he didn't know anything.

It's also possible there were more calendars than last year, but demand was even higher, so they still sold out incredibly quickly. Although I'm not sure I believe that judging by the comments on insta.

My order isn’t showing on the website or the app!!! Last time this happened a few weeks later I got an email saying sorry we’ve had to cancel your order because they had over ordered and didn’t have enough! All those arseholes who’ve managed to buy multiples selling them on eBay for £££ they shouldn’t be allowed to do that! They should limit the sale to one per person to make it fair!

I answered 3, but I think it's actually a mix of them all. One thing that let down Spacenk last year was how flimsy the box was, especially compared to Liberty and Harrods. It is definitely more to do with the variation of products too. You could have amazing brands but if they're all toners, it's not great 🤣

Mine isn't showing either. Did you get an email confirmation? I'm not going to panic, I think a few years ago they oversold but I'm confident that they've sorted things out for that not to happen again 🤞🏻 Maybe you weren't logged in and checked out as guest, that's what I'm going with anyway. Let's keep the faith. We're in this together, in our own club 👭

no not at all …there is always demand for this calendar and i suspect they may have held more back for release in-store on the 1st as last year so many people queued that they were forced to open early and lots left disappointed)

It might be the case that they have more in stores. It must be pretty bad when people are physically queuing outside the store and then there aren’t enough to go around!

I imagine that they release fewer online so that when it’s released in store they can post the queue on social media and generate frenzy!

I agree that I look for a mix of those things when choosing a calendar. I do think variation of products is quite important too and why Harrods were marked down a point when I realised they have included 3 eye creams but no full sized night cream. Did it stop me going for it though? No! 😆

The mz skin is the serum, so it can be layered with an eye cream. I agree though, not great, I would've preferred a full size night cream.

Ah ok, so you use it before the eye cream like you do a face serum? I don’t think I have used an eye serum before.
I see that the Shiseido one is an eye and lip cream too. 🤔
I will just have to look out for an eye cream that may appear in another calendar and try and grab one on Vinted

Ahh - slight disappointment as the reveal is Harrods BAC

I did think it would be Harrods, she did Harrods last year too which made me pre-order it. It looks good, but not impressed with Christmas eve tatcha mini, Christmas day lipstick again 😳 We need this changing for next year!
