I'm starting this first one but hoping that when a thread looks close to ending another thread member can set the next one up. This is not working out so well. 😂

To avoid duplicate threads please try to post in the thread that's ending to alert everyone you're setting up a new one.

Other members check who was first to offer and whether a new one is live.
It might be an idea to keep a list of advents that are live in the OP and later on which are sold out. This can be copy/pasted/edited when a new thread is started.

It probably goes without saying but please be courteous and patient with each other. This thread will have spoilers and please no judging of others for their purchasing choices. Participation in the threads is optional.

Hello @MaryBD ! I discovered your site through MN threads; I'm on there all the time now plus Instagram.
Your site is like an encyclopedia of my past purchases (and wishlist) and I feel you do the beauty community a great service by archiving our history.

Has anyone tried the Sentier fragrance calendars before . It looks nice but I’ve never heard of them .

Not the calendars, but have had a couple of sentier fragrances in something or other along the way. I have no idea where from!
Based on the ones I have had, not for me. Very run of the mill, little sillage or longevity, not fragrances I revisit.

Sentier seems to be connected to Avant, Flanerie and another brand. They only seem to appear in Advent Calendars and beauty boxes. They have a high RRP, but seem suspicious to me - are they white label products that just exist to increase a calendar/boxes RRP?

I put their fragrances in the same category as Avant skincare, you never see them anywhere but in beauty boxes and their advents.

@MaryBDwelcome and hope you stay and join us on both the advent and beauty threads, and 100% agree they are frequented by the nicest non-judgemental people.

Funnily enough, I've recently bought a sample set of their perfumes, but haven't had chance to try them yet. The sample set doesn't include the Ardent Cherry Extrait, which sounds lush, although cherry fragrances often disappoint me. No reviews on Fragrantica yet so it must be new, but there are for their older ones.

I wouldn't get this because I'm not much into candles, but presumably you are?
