A good point @Chouxre Mary’s dress and not wanting to upstage the bride, if that was what she was trying to do, she succeeded 😀
Kate’s dress and Grace Kelly’s dress had similar vibes as does Cecille’s dress the same “family” dress wise as it were.

Meghan’s wedding dress and Princess Angela of Liechtenstein’s dress were very similar. I’d love to post a photo of each side by side but I am a Luddite when it comes to tech 😀

I don't think any wedding guest could ever upstage the bride.
Angela of Liechtenstein is absolutely beautiful and very stylish. I know what you mean about her wedding dress, very simple and elegant.

I think Max looks fab (and I really like the espadrilles 😎). Not sure about Alexia’s jumpsuit. The top is good but there is something odd about the waist area. It also look a bit “evening” to be worn at the F1 imo

That's a really great summery look from Maxima. The skirt isn't immediately 'wow', but the bold, semi-abstract chrysanthemum print works much better than it has any right to. As ever though, half the secret is that Maxima looks as if she's enjoying her day out at the Grand Prix with hubby and daughter.

I agree Alexia's jumpsuit seems more like evening wear - I think it's the combination of black and strapless.

I think it’s the gold belt. It’s a bit blingy for the daytime.

I kind of like the way Alexia DGAF about convention and does things like wear a formal jumpsuit to watch the F1 race or show up for a formal photoshoot in a leather jacket!

Max always looks so well after a summer break. Her hair improves and she just glows. I've noticed this for the last few years. I know that she works hard at her job and I think just gets plumb tired out.

Talking of Alexia.... I love that purple dress, and I'm not keen on that colour usually.

We saw them in the flesh! Too far away for decent photos but I was a bit too fan girl for DH and DS!
I sort of get Alexia being so glamorous. She was surrounded by women of around her age who are models, influencers, and WAGs of very rich men, she was maybe just in line with them.

Ooh I like that on Mary. Agree about the skirt and I love the blouse too. Just the right amount of puff in the sleeves and also a good length. I like the tan belt and shoes although might be overdoing it a bit by adding a green bag and sunnies. One colour too many although I think she just about gets away with it

Not current but I just saw this pics of Diana at the View to a Kill premier by Bruce Oldfield. I don’t often like what she wore but that was great.
