Looking for blush suggestions please… I thought I had every shade going when you look at my collection but I really struggled to find a coral/peach one today, so looking for your favourite coral/peach blush suggestions please

@MrsBnow12 Coral and peach, or coral or peach? These are just peach but both lovely… Ilia Soft Focus Blush in Flutter or Rhode Pocket Blush in Freckle.

🤣. Like you, I don’t like many perfumes, in fact the only one I liked from last years Liberty was their own, I sold the rest, but I love Le Labo. They sell in Liberty, so maybe that’s what you could spend your BD credit on!! Quite a few years ago now they had the matcha in the Liberty Advent and like others have said HN had eucalyptus and JL The Noir last year. I’d love one of their perfumes to be in a BAC, it would possibly sway me to buy ( although it didn’t last year but I bought a the noir from Vinted and really like it!)

The new one 'guava' from Dior is a really nice coral 😍

After placing another Harrods order yesterday and buying another Tom Ford eyeshadow quad, I thought it was about time I used some of my new make up tonight. I completely forgot about my Dior highlighter palette, but I did used my TF eyeshadow quad in haze sensuality that I bought from Cheshire Oaks a few months back - I really like it! 😃

@IlovePond I fell in love with Le Labo The Matcha two years ago when I asked MN for recommendations of figgy / green fig style perfumes when my favourite Aqua de Palma Iris was discontinued. I’m now on my third bottle (gulp! - this is why I need to hear about the next CB 40% code!!)

I don’t feel it has the best staying power - although people do comment on it even hours after I’ve sprayed. Everyone else I know who wears Le Labo says the same: it doesn’t feel like it lasts but other people seem to smell it. Anyway, I digress I also bought Neroli, but am sort of plodding through it reluctantly because it was an expensive semi-mistake. I don’t dislike it, it’s just a bit meh so I use it for work.

This reminds me that the HN Le Labo assistant gave me a full range of samples when I bought my last bottle & they’re all still in a drawer somewhere at home. It’s definitely time to start playing with them!!

Ooh, I finally managed to get the LiB sun smart box. I didn’t get the free AI box offer, but I did get the sun smart on offer for £37, so I’m pleased with that. I wasn’t too fussed about the AI box anyway

Sephora are giving a free mystery gift with £80 spend. I remember they offered this last year but they messed up my order and I never received it. Has anyone ever had one and do they tend to be anything good?

I have had one before and it was rubbish, cant remember what it was but a mini hair serum comes to mind. I would not be placing an order just to get the mystery gift.

I wouldn't bother. I did this once, I can't remember what I got but I was deeply underwhelmed. It was something along the lines of a 20ml toner. I've seen other similar comments about the mystery gift usually being a bit crap.

I think this is good if you need a whole range of skincare. Not all of it will necessarily suit everyone, but even though it’s more expensive than most of SK’s boxes I think it’s good value for money considering what is in it.

If ordering, I would hold off until tomorrow as they have an event starting.

Hi how can I try perfumes I have without spraying them that are from edits, if I don’t like any, I plan on selling. Don’t have a Sephora or similar in the tower where I live. Thank you in advance

Hi Rapunzel! Sorry, the typo made me laugh!

I usually do get somewhere to try them if possible. If not, look up on fragantica, comparing with things you know you go or do not like. This will give you an idea of your preferred scent profiles. If you do open and spray, sell them on EBay where they allow you to describe and sell accurately.

@Lonely12 - JL usually have a large range of quite niche perfumes - so that’s usually my first port of call for trying perfumes I have at home but don’t want to spray.

Independent department stores like Hoopers in Tunbridge Wells often have a surprisingly large collection of the sort of perfumes that are usually only stocked in places like Harrods. (I was able to try Thameen there, for example - yuk😿)

Bigger SNK stores can be quite good too.

Alternatively, you could look on eBay for people selling sample sizes. There is also a company that sells sample sizes - someone on here will know what it’s called.

Sniffing the cap or box sometimes helps.

Also, as @Addictedtobeauty says, eBay allows you to sell perfumes that have been ‘tested’. However, given the number of fakes, you will have more luck selling a sealed product. Having said that, not all perfumes come sealed!
