Sorry everyone! I didn't realise how near the end of the old thread we were.

What on earth have you all done with yourselves for the last few hours? 😂

As always everyone welcome to join in and hopefully this is the thread we see the first 'big' BAC reveal. 😍

I have three foaming cleansers, a cleansing oil and an exfoliating cleanser. To be fair to me, one of the foaming cleansers is technically DP’s and the other was sent to me for free to review but I still feel overwhelmed by all the cleansers!

Eight on the go right now but all do different jobs and fit different moods! This is pretty much my limit before I open any more from the stash.

I have the Elemis cleansing oil as a regular that gets replaced straight away.

The omorovicza balm mentioned by a previous poster from TKMaxx that is gorgeous but also Then I Met You balm for when I don't need the clay!

Anua Peach and Niacin as a new discovery and feels really clean if you've been a bit sweaty.

A few more and then the only one I'm not enjoying is La Prairie foaming from a JL edit as it burns my eyes.

Edit to say they're stored away tidily in my large bathroom cabinet...was the first furniture I got when I bought my house before even a bed!

Thelifeofawife · 29/06/2026 23:11

@IDontHateRainbows Thanks for the Givenchy prism libre recommendations, I’ve bought both shade 01 & 02 - I would have only got one to try but thanks to @MrsBnow12 giving the details of the Escentuals offer, I was able to get both for not much more than LF were selling one for.

Also thanks @OvaHere for the Elf recommendation - I did take a look but couldn’t find it anywhere on the app, so decided to go ahead with the above offer instead.

I hope I like it now I’ve bought 2 of them 😅

I’m also enjoying CT pressed powder thanks for @OvaHere recommendation previously.
My make up definitely has more staying power these days 😊

LightandBreezy · 29/06/2026 23:13

Good to know that's a universal downvote on the La prairie cleanser, I have that from last years Harrods BAC in my stash. However as I also currently have 5 open cleansers in the bathroom ( 2 cream, one balm, 1 foaming, 1 foaming and exfoliating) there was no chance I was going to get to it anytime soon. I'm going to chuck one cream cleanser (Q&A Oat Balm) because I feel like it's drying which is really not what you want from a cream cleanser, and the other one (Caudalie Almond milk) is really lovely and a new HG product for me.

Mejera · 29/06/2026 23:14

3 open cleansers for me - always start with Elemis balm (or another balm, I've enjoyed the Wild Source minis from Liberty) - then if having a shower it's Youth to the People superfood Cleanser, which i loooooove. Or if not showering it's currently Kate Somerville exfolikate foaming wash, which is fine - but will be replaced with a different foaming one once done.

SheilaFentiman · 29/06/2026 23:15

Byoma Jelly and Stella and Grace foaming cleanser in the shower. Lumene cleansing milk and one of the Inkey List ones by the basin. Micellar water in the bedroom to get eye makeup off first, if I’m wearing it.

Seems that 5 is a perfectly fine number 😀

OvaHere · 29/06/2026 23:38

I'm an outlier clearly as I really like the La Prairie cleanser. I've used one travel size up and am most way through a 2nd. I've got one travel sized and a full size left. I don't use it near my eyes if I can help it but I've never had an issue either.

Thelifeofawife · 30/06/2026 00:21

I’ve got micellar water, Lacura vitamin c foaming cleanser, Eve Lom cleansing balm, Dermatologica daily microfoliant and Kate Somerville Exfolikate. Erm, 5 again 😁

I have recently finished Murad foaming cleanser, which I quite liked. I have gone back to the Lacura one to finish it up, and will then move on to one of the many others in my stash - I’m keen to try the Then I Met You cleansing balm, as I really like the Elemis one and this seems very similar (incidentally I have approx 4 Elemis ones in my stash too!)

I couldn’t get along with the La Prairie one either

JoRaRaRa · 30/06/2026 07:05

I have quite a few cleansers open too 🤭 Naturium cleansing gelee from the snk calendar and la prairie from JL luxe box (also have the minis from Harrods ac and CB edit), I've gone back to these 2 to see if I can use them now, they were both too drying on my skin in winter. I also don't put the la prairie on my eyes. I also have Then I met you cleansing balm, no7 cream cleanser, and decree light cleanser.

CB are doing 20% off and a £10 voucher. No minimum spend as far as I can see although the usual exclusions apply.

Annoying because I finally bit the bullet on the chasing the sun edit two days ago - and used the medik8 hydr8 intense yesterday, and agree with many of you it is excellent!

SummerLimes · 30/06/2026 08:28

La Prairie I don’t put on my eyes - if it gets anywhere near (cheeks) it stings.

It’s a really good offer, I might succumb- does seem to work on the chasing the sun edit.

Anyone with Face The Future points to use up this week (before they close their loyalty points scheme)…
Had an email from them this morning for a free Neom candle with Neom purchase. I got the perfect pamper kit, which is currently reduced to £39.99 from £80, don’t need any of it of course but thought it will make a nice gift for someone. Qualified for free shipping, free candle added automatically and it allowed me to use my rewards voucher code. I only had £5 but I thought £34.99 was a decent deal, and got me to use my points finally so I didn’t waste them.

Great offer especially if no minimum spend. I will have a nosey to see if there is anything I need want. However, I find their ‘gift vouchers’ soo annoying to spend.

I have a list of things I need to buy, it’s getting quite big now and I’m running out of stuff, can someone please explain how Space NK works? I haven’t bought from them in six years and have mostly bought my regular stuff from Cult Beauty (I do like their edits more too). I want to switch back based on what you’ve all said about customer service. But I don’t want to pay 20% more than I have to. Will there be a 20% off soon?

I really don’t like the soap and glory stuff I bought. The cleansing balm is like a lighter whipped Vaseline and I am sure it’s making me break out. It’s hard spots in weird areas, not hormonal spots. I don’t like the smell of the toners, I bought an exfoliating one and a clarifying one, but spoilt now after using Glow Recipe lovely smelling one. So I need to replace these basics asap.

If anyone has recommendations of Boots stocked cleansing balms that they’d recommend I’d love to know. I love the Lisa Eldridge one and Wild Source.

I went into Boots at the weekend and grabbed some Cow&Shed bargains, they were getting rid of the stock for some reason. Just not popular in that store. Got this for £8.25 RRP £35 www.boots.com/cowshed-active-shower-essentials-gift-set-10274378 and this body lotion for £5 RRP £24 https://www.boots.com/cowshed-replenish-uplifting-body-lotion-300ml-10274363. Would have bought more lotion and shower gel but they were the last ones on the shelf, though lots of shampoo and conditioner still there.

Has anyone tried the Ouai deodorant? Reviews are mixed. www.boots.com/sitesearch?searchTerm=Ouai+deodorant+

Usually it's when oil is transferred from the brush to the product and creates a hard top layer. Some products seem more prone to it than others. You can scrape off the top layer or use sticky tape to remove. It tends to come back though.

😳 I don’t want to admit how often I wash my brushes, it’s related how often I wear makeup (not often!). I’ve definitely done this then. I didn’t even think about oils on the brush.

@BakeOffRewatch Boots stock the Beauty of Joseon radiance cleansing balm and the Elf makeup melting balm, both really good.

Hope you like them. I've done away with foundation completely these days and just use primer + givenchy prisme libre. Unfortunately the escentual ones were only discounted on the paler colours which is not fair for those of us with darker skin but LF had a more inclusive approach to their discounting.

I can’t see the Cult offer that’s being discussed - did it come in an email? Also the 20% off isn’t working on the Chase the Sun Edit for me.

The code is TREAT. However you don’t get 20% off the edits but the gift card does apply to the basket with the edits.

edited to add. It seems to have been pulled as the gift card isn’t adding for the edits for me now. Nor does it work for anything already discounted. It seems to add if it’s a full price item that is eligible for the 20% and then the gift card applies at checkout. I will take this as a sign. No idea why they make their offers soo much hard work.

Thank you for this, I had no idea the scheme was closing and have £10 in reward vouchers. It tells me the minimum spend is £100 though, was it the same for you?

I think the scheme closes on 6th July, they’ve sent me a few emails to remind me to use my points before it goes.
There was no minimum spend for me for using the points voucher I don’t think. I just clicked on the button to redeem the points and it gave me a code. Entered that in to “discount” code box at checkout and it took £5 off my total. Hopefully it works for you.
I did try to spend them previously but would not add when I tried whilst buying a mystery box. So I guess there are exclusions. I wasn’t expecting to be able to use them today as the item was already heavily discounted and with a GWP, so was pleasantly surprised to be able to use it, or I would have just given up and not bothered spending the points I think.

user593 · 30/06/2026 11:56

@Beautyfox Thank you! I ordered Nuxe Sun Oil Shimmering Gold SPF, some more JM Cypress and Grapevine samples and a sheet mask (to get free shipping). £30.52 with a £10 gift card! ☺️

BurningTheToast · 30/06/2026 12:15

So much for not buying anything... I've ordered a set of Elemis cleansers and some of the BoJ centella masks (amazingly good and £2 each!) and got my 20% and gift card. Then when they sent the gift card I popped back (because I forget to use these usually) and bought the Chasing the Sun edit. The 20% didn't work but I used a fiver of points and the gift card so it cost £27 - bargain.

Maybe July will be my no-buy month now I'm all stocked up...

I've got enough for £15 in vouchers - it's telling me no minimum spend on a £5 voucher, but £100 min to use a £10 voucher...
