these just popped up on my M&S suggestions to buy: https://www.marksandspencer.com/silicone-stick-on-nipples/p/clp61230306
I must be getting old and out of touch because in my day we wore padded bras to hide our nipples through clothing!
and if I wanted to show some nipple these days (which I don’t) I could just wear a thin bra rather than stick these things on?!

They’ve been around years now. Definitely not new.

Why would that be the case when men already have nipples?

To go on top of padding stuffed into in a bra

That is weird!

Maybe they are for people who have had grisly nipple accidents and no longer have nipples?

Or (sadly more likely) they are considered the perfect nipple shape/size, and are for women who want to cover up their perfectly ordinary unfashionable nipples.

Grisly nipple accident? Christ that's offensive, is it that much of a stretch to consider women who have had mastectomies? I had a double mastectomy at 35 and was "lucky" enough to keep my nipples, plenty aren't as "lucky" as me and these are an option to help what little confidence in your body is left.

Runners nipples? Dh tapes over his nipples before long runs because otherwise the shirt can literally chafe them until they bleed. I’ve bought him these sort of things, both ‘prosthetic’ nipples and nipple-hiders, because I thought they might be more comfortable than micropore. (And not because I thought they were extremely funny on him, oh no, not at all.) Unfortunately, they don’t stick well for the same reason that the micropore hurts: his hairy chest.

@LaLaLoz19 Agree totally. Lots offensive and clueless (to put it mildly) comments here.

I'm sorry that you had to go through that ordeal.
