Toast had left the supplier’s label on the coat I bought. I have just had a google of the factory in Lithuania, which was interesting.

Was it the boiled wool blue material @IlovePond? I only have the Frankie coat and it’s worn quite well - hope your new brown one holds up too.

I returned the Reworn beaded wrap jacket today. It’s really beautiful and looked completely unworn to me, so if anyone is on the lookout for it, it should pop up on their website in the next few days.

I really like the pink linen coord, but would need to check shade of pink first. Would have to be an end of season sale purchase for me too, as I’m not buying any more summery items with this ongoing rainy weather. And have also not had much luck with Toast linen in the past, so it would be a gamble…

It looks like this Canadian store sells a mix of current Toast stock and some from previous seasons.

Ah okay @IlovePond I remember that style. It’s such a pity. Maybe just a bad batch of material? I have a boat neck linen dress I absolutely love but it’s torn (and then patched up by the repair service) in about 6 different places now. In some instances it’s like the linen just disintegrates. The shop assistant did mention a possible bad batch of material, so it makes me think their staff are aware of this sort of thing happening with their garments. Have you mentioned it to CS at all?

Which jumpsuit are you looking at? I am also eyeing up the navy one!

@mizu - I have those trousers and they aren't gabis. They're really wonderful but absolutely massive (even for toast large sizing at its largest). If you usually take a 16 in Toast, then you will need a 12 or possibly a 10. They're from just before the pandemic I think

@faustina oh thank you! Very useful advice. Im probably a 12 and these are a 12 so probably too big.

@CakeAndJazz I thought about speaking to CS. but decided they probably wouldn’t care as I got it from the sample sale. (It was still expensive!)

Even on the Toast pics, you can see it’s sort of ‘fluffy’! I just think it’s a really poor quality material. I have mentioned it to shop staff and they didn’t seem surprised.

ooooh I didnt know there was a Toast chat! I love Toast, just about the only stuff I wear now, although most are second hand, sale or lucky charity shop finds. I have an exhibition opening in2 weeks and have just bought a silk dress to wear, which Im hoping will fit me...

Im only short, but I like the long skirts.

Me too - I’m only 5’0” but I love a really long dress. I’ve been known to send midis back for being too short.
