Royal Style: More Summer Bling please

That caught me by surprise! We had a flurry!

The lace is pretty but I personally feel jars with the tunic/shift upper style of the dress.
Love an excited happy bride - looks as if they are all having such a good time despite the weather!

I think I'd like it a lot more without the lace filling in the neckline.

It looks like a pinafore with a lace top underneath, which I'm not keen on. At first I thought the lace part may have been a shrug, but it doesn't look like it

Catherine’s outfit is not a colour I would have thought of but I think she looks lovely. I think the collar is particularly flattering on her. Love the colour of Zara’s dress but the shoes look more suited to Strictly than a wedding 😆. Camilla and Charles look classy and beautifully coordinated. I wonder if they will change to go to Epsom as their outfits seem perfectly suited for there too. I like Beatrice’s floral dress but Eugenie looks more like she is going to a funeral than a wedding. Anne is just Anne, but with the navy gloves and green umbrella, she is slightly straying in to batty lady territory 😆

Lord Snowdon was there with his girlfriend, who was wearing a similar shade to Kate. Lady Sarah was also in attendance but I've not seen a good picture of her. But I'm guessing hat, full skirt and slightly cropped cashmere cardigan!

I didn't realise Snowdon had a new girlfriend, perhaps the next wedding?
Yes, Lady Sarah has found her style and is sticking to it!

I love Sarah Chatto. She was the best royal bride by a country mile. She totally would have been in her cardi today, without a scrap of makeup.

Snowdon's girlfriend looks tres chic. Sarah Chatto in black and white, which is an odd choice for a summer wedding. I like Sophie's blue outfit, but not the handbag, which looks a bit strange.

Me too. She has her "look" and usually it works well. Not today though.

I really like Camilla and Kate .i think the bride looks beautiful in that her hair and make up look great and her evident joy . I dont like the top half of the dress with the high lace neckline etc - I find it a strange choice for an early summer wedding - if it had been sunny and warm today she would have been really hot in it.

Perhaps the bridesmaids would have looked better with a heeled shoe ?

I'm disappointed in Margarita AJ's outfit, very creased and a strange combination of colours. The top almost looked like a waterproof jacket? Odd headress, too.

looked chic though. Linley’s girlfriend was one of the stylish guests.

Suddenly, all this generation of royals are looking old. I mean, I know they’re not young, but it struck me.

She looks like she had forgotten it was the wedding, remembered on her way to work and found a sun hat lurking in the boot of the car.😉

I don't normally comment on theae threads but I saw some pictures on the BBC of the Princess of Wales at the wedding of Peter Phillips and had to come and find you!

I love what the Princess of Wales is wearing. I agree that it probably isn't a colour I would have chosen but I think she looks beautiful.

I think the bride’s dress is beautiful but would have been better and more elegant without a veil.Too virginal and distracts from the neckline. Bridesmaids, veils, a bit inappropriate for divorcee in her 40s. Im probably old fashioned though.

Snowen's girlfriend is very elegant but his daughter looks like she's donned a waterproof over her dress!

I'm not a huge fan of the wedding dress but she looks happy and nice and that is all that matters. I love her bridesmaids dresses though - lovely fall of the skirt. Snowden's girlfriend was very very chic - although I think I'd prefer if the sash was not in a contrasting colour.

I can't say anything nice about that red dress on Kate - I don't even like the ruby/diamond pendant and earrings with it. But I really like the dress she is wearing to the wedding.

Not keen on the bride’s dress. Too buttoned up iykwim.
Kate looks so elegant if a little too thin.
and Imho her hair needs 2 inches off.
Love Zara’s outfit, the blue is just beautiful, is that an Anya Hindmarch bag ?

Camilla’s is a gorgeous colour.
The bridesmaids are lovely as are Mia Tindal and Lena.
Not too keen on Princess Anne’s outfit. It’s grand and could be a whole lot worse.
