Black at Royal Ascot seems wrong. Unless Sophie is in mourning for someone.

The Dutch picture has people looking in all different directions. Some to the left, some to the right and a few down the lens of our photographer. I always thought these official shoots only had one photographer present or maybe that’s just in the UK?

Well the Dutch pushed the boat out tonight. So many jewels on display was gorgeous 🤩.

Sophie looked great although I agree black didn’t seem fitting (unless in mourning)

Not many photos of Anne today but from what I saw she looked great in pink.

I'm not keen on the King's light grey morning suit, it looks faded and crumpled and doesn't go with the black top hat. It looks better from the front with no hat because his blue waistcoat livens it up a bit. I wonder if he wears it to make himself easy to pick out from the other men from a distance.

Sarah Chatto was there yesterday too but I only caught a glimpse of her - big hat and cashmere cardigan. And probably a full skirt but I couldn't see it as she was in the carriage. Assume she wasn't wearing hotpants!

I've been looking at some of the other ladies, who look amazing. There's some great styling out there.

I'm sulking because after a morning of cleaning so I could sit in the garden the weather has turned its excessively windy, black clouds.

My DD is working there but hasn't managed to catch a glimpse of any of them yet. She wouldn't recognise anyone except the King and Queen, William and Kate, it's me that's all excited.

I think Sarah Chatto was wearing the lovely outfit she wore to the Coronation- definitely the hat, I thought, and the top of her outfit looked the right colour.

Lord Snowden and his partner are going to be there today so we can look forward to seeing what she's wearing. Her ensemble was one of the few style highlights from Peter and Harriet's wedding.

I’ve just seen a collection of women wearing top to toe red on the tv coverage. What were they thinking? It’s a good reminder to not wear red. Each one looked more awful than the last.

Yes, it was, I thought she looked very stylish.

Royal Ascot has this year - for the first time - designated tomato red as the Colour of the Year in its’ style handbook! But yes I agree it’s not a great choice.

I think the Royal Enclosure badges are also red today as I saw Mrs Georgia Tofolo (as she was styled on the badge) wearing a red one. Holly Willoughby has a pink one though so at least one of them is not in the Royal Enclosure.

Today’s royal enclosure badges are purple so neither Holly nor Georgia are in the royal enclosure.

The website says Sophie’s dress is navy so two unusual colour choices this week but not both black.

Oh dear, I love red and really love prints, especially big bold designs! Got to be carefully co-ordinated though, with accessories that blend well.
Oh well, Max and I will go chat about pringle hats and mad fashion choices in a corner, daring to be different 😆

Don't feel bad! You know what it's like on here - there are many different opinions, which just makes it interesting! Nothing will convince me that Erdem have ever made a stylish garment, but I know they have their supporters on here! 😁
