Lol yes it's Anne with an E 😂😂

Matthew needs to get her some puffed sleeves!

KiIIingMeDeftly · 17/06/2026 17:06

This was what Sophie wore today and I think it looked great on her, though a colour other than black might've been nice. Navy perhaps, if she wanted something dark.

Edited

That's a very different look for Sophie, quite unexpected but I like it. Nice contrast with the shoes.

I actually love Maxima's green dress but she's fallen victim to the padded headbands too! State banquet over there tonight so it'll be bling centra(a)l. Max doesn't stint when it comes to jewellery!

deeahgwitch · 17/06/2026 17:14

Is Max wearing Astroturf ?
Now that you say it @KitchenColourandstyle………….

I’m not keen on the egg yolk yellow on Kate. It’s just not a classy colour.
Lady Gabriella on the other hand looks so lovely.
Carole Middleton’s dress is lovely though I preferred the shoe pairing at Pippa’s wedding.
Alize at a very quick glance (imho) looks not dissimilar to Pippa.

KiIIingMeDeftly · 17/06/2026 17:18

Funny you say that, I used to think Meghan and Pippa looked a bit alike.

Maireas · 17/06/2026 17:18

Max sure brings out the bling, I'm hoping for the Stuart tiara, huge earrings, a massive necklace and at least 3 bracelets. Minimum.
Didn't she wear a stomacher, recently?

I don't mind the colour or the style but I can't be OK with the fabric.

Sidebeforeself · 17/06/2026 17:26

There was an insta montage today about Kate’s Order of the Garyer outfits and it’s noticeable how her hems are getting longer. I hope she doesn’t feel she has to do that as she gets older and more senior as a Royal.

Maireas · 17/06/2026 17:26

Lady Gabriella looks lovely in the blue outfit.

They do in my eyes also.

TimorousOrBold · 17/06/2026 17:30

I loathe the yellow colour, but Kate somehow pulls it off and looks lovely.

Nice to see Sophie in something other than prints or florals.

Agree - it's a lovely colour and shape for her. I can't help noticing she is no longer wearing her wedding ring, and has reverted to her maiden name - poor woman, I don't blame her.

Yes, that was very harrowing. Poor woman.

I agree that Catherine looks amazing in that rather challenging yellow. Sophie has finally got the length of her dress spot on and I too think that a block colour is much better on her (maybe next time a more cheerful bock colour, but hey-ho)

Serenster · 17/06/2026 19:50

Everyone’s come out for the Japanese state dinner - Naruhito and Masako are clearly popular! We have Maxima, Beatrix, Laurentian, Margriet, Amalia and Ariane! Stuart tiara on Max, too.

smilesy · 17/06/2026 19:59

Max is certainly up for rocking different textures today. So after grocers fake grass we have cellophane to wrap flowers in. It’s a good job her name is Maxima and not Minnie as there is nothing minimalist about her ever 😂

KiIIingMeDeftly · 17/06/2026 20:05

Is that an Iris van Herpen on Maxima? I think she's worn it before. And the Stuart tiara?

KiIIingMeDeftly · 17/06/2026 20:07

Lovely dress on Amalia and is it Ariane's first state banquet? No Alexia but she'd probably turn up in a leather jacket!

I can't work out what's going on with Max's dress, it looks like one of those optical illusion things.
Some great bling 😍

I’ve realised theres an intense amount of Royal style activity in June - Trooping, Order of the G and Ascot. Great content for this thread! And Kate will be at Wimbledon too so that’s 2 or 3 days of dresses as well.

Feels like we wait for ages and then three occasions come along at once!

KiIIingMeDeftly · 17/06/2026 21:38

Just saw some pics of Lady Gabriella at Ascot and she looks so like Princess Alexandra.
