What have you bought lately?

As per the title, I’m just looking for inspiration and interested to see what people are buying.

The last thing I bought was a pair of board shorts, neither stylish or beautiful, but practical.

Loads of dresses mainly from charity shops - I’m nearly 3 stone lighter than this time last year so nothing fits - I’ve still got a way to go so don’t want to spend too much
Non charity shop I bought a lovely cream Tommy Hilfiger t shirt from tkmaxx and a green cashmere silk short sleeve cardigan chinti and Parker in sale
I am really short of plain but elegant summer tops to wear with trousers for my pt job with more formal dress code - I hate ironing so no linen but needs to be cool

Ohhh is it a wrap dress? I was just thinking I should dig mine out.

One navy and one white White Stuff Annie long line shirts. So light and breezy for summer and so flattering.

Not sure they are, sadly! They're good quality, but not museum-quality - stuff like a cream silk & lace petticoat, which I used to wear as a skirt, & a long black silk velvet coat with cream silk lining. Beautiful - but I don't think they're especially "fashionable" vintage right now?

😅lots of online shopping here over the last couple of days. Linen, cotton mostly. I'm returning most of my M&S order which doesn't fit quite well enough. Everyone (whistles, jigsaw, JL) seems to have 20% off this weekend.

I've done a full spring restock over the last few weeks. Mostly basics but I'm delighted by the vintage Romeo Pires skirt I tracked down after years of hopeful trawling!

Also my first pair of balloon trousers. I love them. They are from Monsoon.

Narciso Rodriguez Musc Nude perfume. I've decided there's something about musk in perfumes that I love as I keep sniffing my wrist 🤣.

Summer maxi skirt and blouse both from the sample rail at Aspiga
Wool/cashmere coral jumper and silk/cotton pale pink cardigan, both from charity shop.
Leather belt also charity shop - I much prefer worn in leather belts to new ones
h&m barrel cropped jeans (full length on me)
h&m embroidered cotton blouse
Spyder ski jacket which can double as a warm winter jacket
red chunky cotton cardi from Whistles I think
Cotton batwing/cropped jumpers Uniqlo, love these

I tried on a ba&sh suede jacket I’d been lusting after but it wasn’t as nice in person (luckily given the price!)

Also ordered a load from Levis including a lovely maxi denim skirt and jeans but it’s all going back, skirt is too long and nothing else fits well enough

I have ordered a load of black tie dresses from JL for a forthcoming event so we’ll see if any make the grade

Really need some jewellery, have very little since we got burgled last year 😡… Tricky as earrings are non returnable

I would love to buy more from Vinted but I’m a tricky shape and so much of what I order doesn’t suit me so am not brave enough

Today I bought a Barbour t shirt dress for £10 at a charity shop and a Tommy Hilfiger t shirt with tags for £15 from a different one
Then went outlet shopping and got a jaeger white linen shirt for £24 and some navy trousers for £28
Ended up in tkmaxx and bought a black linen shirt there!

I've been a naughty girl. Last week I bought a Ann Summers white padded balcony bra, matching brazilian knickers and a pair of white lace top hold ups. I feel very sexy wearing them. BF in for a treat!

I guess she's as excited about white lacy hold-ups as I am about Vinted Toast dresses ...!! Or maybe she meant to post on the sex forum ...?? (I can't see Toast dresses having a place on there 😁)

My varicose veins are no fun and I've decided I have to give in. Although they are polka dots, stripes and skull patterned so I will be rocking them!

I’ve bought an oasis dress from vinted. 3/4 sleeves in a chambray denim fabric. It’s a shorter style dress. It’s a bit snug but I’m hoping to shed a few pounds.

My neighbour had her varicose veins zapped two months ago. It was an outpatient job. GP had agreed they needed doing but she had to go private.

Ah - a Roy Lichtenstein print! It's fun! I'd not heard of that label before, so was curious when you mentioned it. Of course, 2009/10 is like yesterday to me - so your vintage finds are just the older clothes in my wardrobe to me! 😁
