I would email cs with copies of everything’s hopefully they’ll send you the make up bag 🤞🏻

Unbelievable! So I emailed them and they’ve come back to me saying ‘sorry but the promotional item was out of stock, as per terms and conditions it’s only while stocks last’! That wasn’t the issue at all and the makeup back is still on sale on the website!

I am pretty disappointed in their response to be honest 😟
Will email back but looks like they’re trying to get out of it. Or hoping that they can stall for long enough for it to go out of stock.

@BakeOffRewatch I also bought from the edit section because I'm still sore about missing out on the bath and body kit through procrastinating.
I ordered Ortigia, which was in the edit, but still no confirmation of entry.
I know Liberty say entry is automatic, but I would have liked a tick box for entry at checkout, or a confirmation of entry.

I’ve had a reply to confirm I’ve been entered in the competition, so £5.20 extra I didn’t mind spending if I assume a 20% discount at Cult Beauty instead on Ouai, and I’ll receive a nice shower gel. I used it in 2024 when I was pregnant and I just love the Ouai St Bart’s smell. They’ve probably had lots of messages to asking to confirm entry so would probably make sense for them to confirm automatically.

They seems to have automated or outsourced their customer service. Really annoying especially the automated replies that then say reply again if this hasn’t answered - yesterday it picked up the keywords Beauty Drop and sent me a FAQ of beauty drop queries when I asked about the competition. Previously, I had someone say there is no beauty drop discounts on edits when it wasn’t showing to me - and that’s a fundamental part of their promotional offering! Ask for it to be escalated to a senior customer service member.

They’re definitely still available or at last one is showing on my order I’m
waiting to check out!

I had an issue with an edit last year, to do with t&cs and them changing contents compared to what they were advertising. I really struggled initially but used chat gpt to structure something around misdescription and breach of consumer rights and they did resolve it. Shouldn’t have to do it, it’s a simple fix for you, just send a bag! You bought in good faith.

Is anyone else still waiting for their box? I haven’t got mine yet, and don’t think I’ve had an email to say it’s on its way either - am I making it up, or do we normally get one of those from Liberty / courier?

I got an email on Saturday (or Sunday) from liberty with a tracking link

Today’s beauty drop reward is the opportunity to win perfume but the best buy is the survey about beauty drop, get filling in people!

I’m not getting emails from Liberty. Any chance of a link?

JoRaRaRa · 16/04/2026 10:54

I sent them an email when I received my box complaining about the product selection. I got back a reply saying that they work hard to curate them etc, blah blah blah. And that was it really. So I wonder if a few people have complained which has then led to them doing this survey to enter the draw. I've completed it, telling them I want spf moisturiser and lip balm in the next box, plus a shimmer body oil 🤣 Then for October, a nice hair oil to fix frazzled, sun hair 😁 I couldn't think of anything else, but I think it's mainly about trying out brands and products that are expensive where I can't afford to blind buy something and more exclusive to liberty. Philip kingsley elasticizer doesn't fit in that category.

I sent a similar email and got the same response. I don’t care what’s in the boxes as long as it’s products I wouldn’t otherwise know about. I’m sick to death of elasticizer and that bloody body wash that always goes straight in the bin.

Me too! Sent an email, got the same response 🙂
Off to do the survey!

BCSurvivor · 16/04/2026 11:10

On a positive note, I opened the Swimming Pool fragrance with trepidation as I wasn't expecting to like it at all - and it was actually quite nice!
I think I was expecting there to be a sharpness to it, but it was quite soft really - once the initial minty toothpaste scent dissipated!

Perhaps if everyone complains and then fills in the survey, liberty will finally get the message.

keepincool · 16/04/2026 12:27

I haven't had the email today - maybe because I cancelled my BD yesterday? My membership is still live though as I've paid for this month.

I did give the disappointing April box as one of my reasons for cancelling.

ClutteredPalace · 16/04/2026 12:57

I haven't had the email either. I did try their useless WhatsApp to try and resolve it as I have email preferences turned on and get some emails, I'm just never informed about beauty drop week. It's raised a ticket for me so I'll see if I hear anything. I just want to give some feedback as I'm one of many unimpressed with this box.

CambersHabituee · 16/04/2026 13:41

The AI WhatsApp chat liberty has is hilariously useless - no idea who tested that!

Yep it's all about the bots these days. Thanks AI. Really annoying as the answer is never quite right.

HellsBells67 · 16/04/2026 14:53

Must go fill out the survey. That hand cream was terrible, smelled old but without any fragrance. Really sick of hanging on for Liberty to get its act together.

BakeOffRewatch · 16/04/2026 22:15

Just filled out the survey, thank you for the reminder and encouragement. The questions weren’t too open ended though, how did you all include your critical feedback?

I’m interested to hear what people put as their favourite beauty drop items? I couldn’t really remember what came in that and not something else. I googled images and put down Wild Source Cleansing Melt Balm, make up bag, SUQQU primer and I’m sorry but I love the Philip Kingsley Anti frizz gloss.

Brands I wanted to see I put Reome, Hourglass, Lisa Eldridge, Ouai, Charlotte Mensah, Ex Nihilo, Thameen (which they’ve stopped stocking), Biologique Recherche, Dermalogica. I should have put Slip and Institut Esthederm too.

I think it’s actually a survey to inform the AC contents - or is it too late in the year for that? I remember in one of the many thread someone shared an article saying they start planning prior to the prior Christmas!

JoRaRaRa · 16/04/2026 22:24

@BakeOffRewatch I wrote down my favourite brands, but then said that I'm also interested in other high end brands that are too expensive to buy products from without trying them first.

I put my favourite products as the augustinus bader the retinol serum and the sisley overnight mask. I couldn't think of any other high end products that I've had. I only signed up last year, so I've had the last 4 boxes.
