In the middle of eating a Galaxy egg - I’ve googled and the other MZ serums are better for pigmentation than the FTF one.

So do I and it didn't cause any issues. Of course it may do for you but it's not a given.

I have terrible pigmentation/melasma on my forehead. I tried vitamin c & retinal for a few months but that made no difference and ruined my skin (I still have scars from the rash on my jawline I shared a while ago). I also tried Caudalie vinoperfect, that didn't work either. I used ChatGPT to go through all the options and it recommended using both azelaic & tranexamic acid (one am, one pm), so I'm now using the Allies of Skin serums. Too early to say if they're going to work though 🤷‍♀️

The Skin Rocks is going on my wish list to try next if they don't work!

@IlovePond thank you so much for the extra info. I don’t need anything so much that I want to spend £20 on postage (although I’m super tempted by a few things, including a sunscreen, which I actually need) so I’m going to sit tight until there’s a beauty box I really want. Pretty sure that won’t take long!

In the meantime, CB 25% site discount stacked with the Anniiecb code took my regular RP Anthelios mattiying gel cream down to £15.19 with free NDD, which feels like a total win. I’m exercising huge self control and only buying one, so I can justify the upcoming SK splurge when it eventually happens 😂

I seem to be stuck on the FTF website dithering about the Now-not-a-mystery bundle. I like the sound of both products but I have so much serum ( 7 full size unopened 30 mls, 7 minis 4-15 mls) and I'm worried this might need to be used quickly. But I did just sell another product on ebay for £40 (a serum, one in, one out?!)

I have also bought three more YSL blushes this weekend- I am so impressed with them. They’re lovely to apply and blend. I’ve started using my Hourglass brushes (from the CB 40% code)- they are superb. I love them and will definitely be buying more. The Wayne Goss brushes I got from the JL sale are terrible in comparison. I never knew brushes could make such a difference.

Well I bought 2 x FTF mystery boxes after the google ai assistant said the MZ serum would be a great partner to my home laser treatments, so I'm excited to try it out!

Oh, my interest is piqued! I have so many questions. Which home laser system are you using? How often, how long, benefits so far, any downsides? I’m seriously tempted to invest.

@Addictedtobeauty I have a Phillips Reaura, a long discontinued device I bought probably 12 years ago now. I used it about 4 times back then, and it stung like hell and gave me a bright pink face for a few hours after treatment so I guiltily (it was expensive) shoved it to the back of a cupboard until recently. I was too young for it when I bought it anyway, and the pain/benefits ratio was off. Am now seeing a lot more signs of ageing (late 40's) so am trying to give it a proper go - using it twice a week. So far my skin tone is more even and healthier looking, and fine lines are looking better although that may be down to the mild swelling effect after treatment. You're supposed to use it for 8 weeks then have 2 weeks off, happy to report back at the end of the cycle. There are a couple on ebay still if it turns out to be a miracle worker!

I also ordered the Dr Sebagh Skin Perfecting Mask from Liberty with 10% off and using credit, so it doesn’t count, right? 😅 I took a sample away with me and I really like the smell, plus I need a ‘light’ not too abrasive mask I can use whilst using actives.

I have so many serums to get through too, maybe more than 7 😳 but I decided it was too good a deal to pass on.

I damaged my barrier the other week and I'm using the decree we got in ftf mystery and ive just started using medik 8 c tetra. I think the c tetra advanced is too strong atm. Also gone back to Sunday riley good genes lactic acid and my skins just starting to settle do not risking it. And the selling on price isn't great so would likely end up out if pocket. I also tried the oskia from another edit and my skin didnt like it. I didnt like the smell either. 🥰

I got the agent nateur holi body serum in the liberty bath edit , thinking of using it as a face serum can anyone say why not? It sounds like it can be used on any area of the body, and is more of an oil than a serum. Ive used gentle body products on the face before and you get so much more for your money/ lasts so much longer.

I’ve just chucked some Clarins tonic. I couldn’t tell if it was off but the smell was vile and I just couldn’t use it.

@IlovePond Clarins stuff normally smells lovely so I think it was probably off!

I just managed to throw 1/4 of a bottle of Votary face oil all over our hotel bathroom 😅

@pinkchampagne1 The google AI assistant also told me that the MZ serum was recently reformulated and renamed, so my concerns about it possibly being old stock from FTF are unfounded plus the product has a PAO of 24 months, so it's good for 2 years after opening! So now I feel I've got time to work through it and the other seven bottles😂Thanks @OvaHere for tipping us all off!

I have not purchased any beauty since the Harrods advent calendar but now I need a face wash cleanser. Any suggestions? I like one that has a bit of lather, can use with the little face sponge, hands or flannel.
Whilst reading reviews on the Ziip Halo and went and purchased some Glow Recipe Aha pads, in the sale and had a further discount. But still undecided on the Ziip.

That's interesting. I guess we should look out for it going on discount elsewhere also. I'm sure CB sell it too.

@Isabelle70 I really like the Medik8 cleanser which I nicked off my DP. It foams really nicely.

I’m also eyeing up the Ziip but just bought the CurrentBody LED Mask so forcing myself to wait!

@Isabelle70 Glow recipe avocado ceramide cleanser is gentle but effective and not drying, or if you'd like a little bit of gentle exfoliation Tatcha rice wash is lovely.
