Let me know how the GG shampoo is @IlovePond. I'm getting on fine with the serum - some new hair growth - but I've got loads of hair fall. I need a new shampoo anyway because frizz ease discontinued my HG 😠 so I bought a trial pack of kerastase genesis shampoo & conditioner but it's made my scalp itchy. I'm not sure what other hair loss shampoos to try, may go back to cheap shampoo and start using the genesis serum again as that was excellent, I'm just not sure if it's too soon given I finished the last bottle in January.

Gah! I’ve discovered that PayPal have taken 3 full payments for the 3 failed orders placed with SK (2 last week, and 1 this morning before I eventually just used my cc, which went through no problem). Paypal are insisting I need to take it up with SK, but SK aren’t responding properly via their chat because they don’t see any orders or payments….

On the topic of haircare, I got a sample of the oribe mirror shine treatment in my SNK haul and it's almost identical to a much cheaper Amika mask that I already have and love (and is much cheaper!)

I went into the Jo Loves store in Belgravia, purchased a candle said I don’t need a bag thanks, the person who served said, Jo insists we do .. Jo then arrived with her dog. I know only a snap shot but they seemed v nervous around her.

My SNK woody edit has finally turned up. I ordered this time last week, the minute it restocked but then got a message to tell me it was out of stock and they'd send it when it was back in. This will teach me to use next day delivery as they obviously don't ship in the order that orders are placed as it was still in stock for a good hour after my order was placed. Never mind, its here now. You watch me decide I don't like woody scents now 😅

@Fillybuster - that’s awful. Have you tried taking a screenshot of your SK order page and sending that to PayPal to show that the order(s) never reached StyleKorean? If that doesn’t work, then can you contact your cc company for a chargeback?

Usually PP are pretty good, but I guess it’s different if it’s their mistake. I suppose they are used to saying ‘contact the retailer’ because that IS usually the first step, but not on this case.

Checked a few more items via the CheckFresh site today. I was horrified to find an EL illuminator in my ‘current use’ product area that was 9 years old 🙀

I know I don’t use illuminator very often, but that’s ridiculous!

If it makes you feel better, I've just realised a Crabtree and Evelyn body oil I've been hanging onto has just reached its twentieth birthday with me. It's been through three house moves and the company stopped trading years ago.🙈 It still smells lovely though despite its age. Ive also got a 4711 soap bar and bottle of cologne that were my nans and were definitely in her bedroom back in the 70s. At this rate I'll be leaving them in my will if I dont throw them soon 😂

I didn’t realise Crabtree & Evelyn had stopped trading, but come to think of it I haven’t seen it for sale in ages. That makes me sad, it really reminds me of my nan who loved it.

😹 @ClutteredPalace - tbf, I have some old perfumes that I still use and they aren’t going anywhere!

Just before I had this clear out, I used up a VS body lotion that smelled and felt absolutely fine. I only realised afterwards that it must have been bought in 2019 when I was in the US. I also took some mini shampoo and conditioners with me on holiday last week and only after using them did I realise they were from the Venetian in Vegas - again 2019!

I don’t think shampoo, shower gel and conditioner ever actually ‘go off’ ime. I won’t be throwing those away, but actual ‘old’ skincare - it’s time it went!

I also liked Crabtree and Evelyn - the shops were nice too. You can get an occasion item in tkmaxx

But @ClutteredPalace - your post has reminded me that I really must stop ‘saving’ things that I think are ‘too good’ to use.

I have also just opened a downstairs cupboard to get out a duster and found a 50ml perfume. What on earth was it doing in there????

I’ve got an eyeshadow stick from the late 70s/early 80s. I don’t intend to use it - apart from anything it’s a devil to remove! - but it’s a Mary Quant one that I loved and I’m not chucking it away!

@user593 I hadn't realised they'd gone either till I was trying to work out how long I'd had the body oil.

I'm glad I'm not the only one with an aging stash but yes @IlovePond I must also stop saving things for best. I won't get rid of my nans perfume though, the smell reminds me of her so I keep it for nostalgias sake. She had a tall shelving unit dedicated to her beauty products so I'm just following family tradition now 😂

This is soo good to know thank you. I really like the mirror shine and have recently ordered a big (and stupidly expensive) large bottle of the stuff. I will def try this once my current one runs out.

Hi thank you for the well wishes for my dogs. Daisy had her operation last week and they have sent the mass off for testing. She seems to be recovering well. Chest x ray showed lungs were clear. My other dog needs another blood test and ultrasound scan.

Gutted that the boxes sold out on sk, had them in my basket and now they are sold out. Missed out last time too.

I have an unopened Joan Collins concealer that I can't bring myself to get rid of - Obviously purchased years ago when M&S stocked the Joan Collins range and well out of date now. I really should get rid of it but it seems a shame to chuck it.

And that thinking is exactly why I'm overwhelmed with stuff! 😕

Is "EL" Estee Lauder or Emma Lewisham - or something else?
