I have a question for people who succumbed to the Prai sparkly neck cream from M&S:

Was your cardboard packaging sealed or wrapped in plastic?
Was the tub itself sealed?

Mine wasn’t sealed at all and I am trying to decide if it’s been opened previously/ tampered with.

It was as you describe so I would guess it's just how they are. It does have a plastic protector over the cream. I don't imagine it's been tampered with at all. A seal on the outer box would have been sensible though.

I asked M&S to deliver my neck cream on Tuesday, because I know DH won't be here to criticise 😂

I do have Evri bringing 3 Vinted purchases today, including a big bundle of goodies from one of you (sorry I can't keep track of Vinted vs MN names).

You know how sometimes an edit/GWP comes out and you agonise over it because there's one or two things you really want, but you don't want the rest so you end up not buying? Or you don't bother buying an edit but everyone raves about one particular thing? Well I've been mentally tucking them away as 'things I'll look out for/buy one day' but it really gives me that feeling like there's an itch I want to scratch. My favourite thing recently has been finding buyers on Vinted who are clearly just like us/are actually us and making up a big bundle of all the things I feel like I missed out on. Often trial sizes/not expensive, and you generally get a good deal on a bundle, so it's much cheaper than actually buying the edits and you get a perfect little selection of just the bits you wanted. It is SO satisfying!

🐑 sigh, I bought a glow bag off Vinted too. Got my Vinted account working again and I couldn’t help myself 🤣. In my defence I will need more vit c soon so I justified it!

So less than an hour after I posted this I did succumb to a third glow bag.

I asked AI how long unopened Medik8 Vit C would be good for and it seems it should be okay for about 2 years post production. As it only launched in May last year I figure none of the batches can be much older than that.

I'll probably give my friend the rest of the bag to try out.

I did use my Vinted balance so it doesn't really count, right?

Hi thank you for the new thread. I don’t post often but I do read the post. Thank you for posting all the offers. I missed out on the cult beauty discount in Jan but saw it last time and was able to get some make up.

i really need to go through everything I have bought. I find this thread and the offers helps with my mental health, especially as it appears I have developed another physical health problem that has made me not want to leave the house and I had to have last week off work due to it. It’s been ongoing now since October and I’ve been back and forth to the doctors to be told all different things and it looks like the g.p I saw last week might be right with what he things it is. They have to rule out other causes so I’m having a blood test this week and a scan end of this month on my kidneys and bladder. I have to leave the house for my job as I work in the community. Also my marriage feels like it’s falling apart and that is stressful and making me sad.

I meant to ask about the Clinique set that look fantastic have on offer. I’m tempted by it, are the products any good. I thought I would ask on here as I know I will get honest answers

Welcome @Lonely12 nice to have you here. Sorry you're having a rough time and lots of us can relate to the escapism. Just don't let this overwhelm you too - we all only have one face as I keep trying remind myself.

Personally I don't find the Clinique Moisture range rich enough for dry skin but I recall from a past conversation lots of others love it.

@Lonely12 - I like the Clinique rich/depuffing eye cream and also the Beyond Perfecting foundation and matching concealer that I currently have on the go.

I don’t mind the pink moisture surge moisturiser creams in that I am always happy to use them if they appear in a GWP, but I don’t seek them out specially as I prefer something a bit more moisturising/targeted anti-wrinkle treatment nowadays.

The Clinique site itself sometimes has some very good offers and freebies.

@Lonely12 That sounds like an awful lot to be dealing with all at once 🙁 Well done for going back to the doctors and pushing for answers, that’s sometimes the hardest step. I’ll keep everything crossed that the tests give you some reassurance.

I completely get what you mean about the thread helping. I actually ended up getting involved here during a bit of a low patch myself, and having something light and chatty to focus on. A bit of escapism through skincare and bargain hunting really helped take my mind off things and everyone on here is so lovely 🩷 Sometimes those small distractions are exactly what you need.

I hope things start feeling a bit easier for you soon. I can't promise you that I won't try to talk you into buying things though 💁🏻‍♀️

Nope, it doesn't count 💁🏻‍♀️ Did you pay full price or send an offer in? I can't decide if to get 1 more 🤔 I've got 2 coming from the fairy, but if they go missing, I won't have any. I think I need a backup 🤣

I sent an offer of 22.50 but it was rejected and countered with 24 so I figured that was as good as it got given there surely can't be that many left now.
