This is the thread where we are all bright orange from Vitamin C overload. Luckily we have a truck load of Bronze Primer to cover it up. 😂

Last thread was probably another speed run record. Let's hope there's no March Madness. We're in need of a break.😳

The pads are really good. I have a box of the orange (med strength) ones. I think they're a bit much for every day use and they're expensive so I just use them here and there if I want to look glowy the next day.

Although I do find I get pretty much the same effect using the BoJ Honey and Rice mask.

I have my current use in wicker baskets, one for day and one for night. I have my backup stash in a couple of large under bed boxes (this does include posh shower gels and body creams), and anything that has arrived in the past couple of months is dotted around the house wherever I can find a spot 😅
I used to hide the boxes form DH but I gave up and now they are just sat around loud and proud 🤣 I just say “well, I’ll be selling some of it 😇” 😅

Oh I’m with you on the breakfast front. I have been on a bit of a health kick and have porridge from time to time, the ones in individual sachets. I went to get one out of the box last week but the box was empty…whyyyyy?! Just throw the box away and buy some more, or tell me so I can buy more!! 😣🤦‍♀️
Similarly, I don’t eat chocolate or biscuits much, but when I want to, the ones I’ve bought as a treat for myself are gone! Bearing in mind that I buy stuff like that for him/the house all the time, so he does know when it’s something different that it’s a treat for me. I’m happy to share if he’s there when I open it, but don’t just take the whole lot!!

Now I think of it, living with him, I should be a size 8 because I don’t get to eat much 😅

I am another who uses the DDG pads but generally the orange ones, I cut each in half and use both over the week.
I try not exfoliate too often and definitely not every day, I do alternate with Sunday Riley Good Genes and a Susanne Kaufman Glow Mask

Welcome @Lonely12 it gets very messy in advent season 😂 this is calm right now and I’ve already succumbed to far more than I should . But the thread is a joy and you may come across occasional puppy/dog/cat pictures which always cheers me up !

I tried the Dr Levy , my skin was a bit pink afterwards but calmed down when I put on the Medic8 🤷🏻‍♀️ not sure I saw or felt different but didn’t make my skin look worse 😆

I’ve only bought one GWP I wish they would end as I feel the pressure !

The Cult Beauty x Lisa Dixon edit now works with codes- i tried CBSALI and it brought it down to £36. Not going to buy it though, I would have considered the other one with the eyelash curlers but it sold out quickly.

Yes, this is a safe place with very kind contributors, incredibly useful tips and, best of all, zero judgement about this ridiculous amount of stuff that gets bought all the time. I was thinking the other day, what if I die and DH gets access to my MN posts and finds out the enormity of my beauty obsession? He knows I like all this stuff and I buy it and I get lots of gifts too. But he doesn’t know except how much stuff I have! It’s not exactly hidden but he just wouldn’t look in my closet and he probably thinks it’s just a few bits at the front of this very deep and high cupboard. Like a Narnia wardrobe.

Someone was asking about micro current devices, I am sorry I can’t find the question to identify the poster. Strictly microcurrent (not mixed with radio frequency, LED or anything else), I do recommend Foreo Bear 2. I had the original version and was very pleased with it and upgraded to version 2 as soon as I heard about it (and could justify the spending with some unrealistic girl math). But you need to use regularly. It takes a few minutes and you don’t need to do it every single day. It definitely keeps the jawline neat and it sort of re-sets the overall contours of the face. It is subtle but it works.
I had a Ziip Halo, never got to even take the sealed wrapper off so I gifted it to my mother in the end. She likes it but finds it takes a bit too long to use. She is however retired and I pointed out to her that she can easily find the time and if she wanted to. She seems to waste a lot of time nowadays just faffing. I think she gets tired more quickly than I realise and simply takes her time doing everything slowly. Feeding her dogs probably takes her nearly 2 hours every day because she prepares it from fresh, a certain combination of ingredients, it needs to be different temperatures for each dog and they need to eat in a certain order and this and that. The dogs finish each feed in under 3 minutes when I watched them!!!

@OvaHereactually that’s a very good idea! It could be part of my inheritance, he just needs to sell it through here. I must also tell him about keeping some safe in case there is an end of the world scenario, beauty stuff would be high value merchandise for the survivors, more valuable than gold or diamonds. I think really, we are all here investing in our future and the future of our families in a round about way.
I should start buying more stuff again.
I’m jealous of all the CB gwp you have all been buying on Vinted, excellent value. Sadly the vitamin C serum didn’t work for me when I tried a sample. If that was replaced with the advanced peptide serum, I’d have been very keen to buy a few sets.
