Not from the Queen's side either as her father and the Duke of Windsor kept their hair and looks even when they were older. Unless the baldness comes from the Strathmores?

Genetics is strange, isn't it? I always think Eugenie looks like the Queen Mother when she was a young woman.

...and I think Charles looks much better now than he did when he was younger - what went on with his hair!!

There's a few pictures of young Charles sporting a beard and that's probably the best he's ever looked!

I think he grew into his looks a bit, there was a time when he was very sporty and active, also serving in the RN, and looked a lot better.

He seemed to spend a lot of time looking like James Bond in his twenties! Andrew spent a lot of time looking dashing too. Anne had a lot of 1960s and 1970s clothes. Edward took a while to grow into his double breastfed suits...

Charles like James Bond?? Let's not get carried away 😆

Maybe not! Being the heir to the throne no doubt added cachet, but that's still a stretch!

The outfit works, imo, various shades of red, velvet scarf and shiny boots. Hair a wonderful bouffant.

Had a look and I think it’s the best outfit I’ve ever seen her in! Really suits her and the boots! Wow I really want those boots!

I think Beatrice looks like a young Queen Victoria.

Charles was never blessed with movie-star good looks (few of us are!) but he was fit and active and definitely looked better in his younger years than his later reputation would suggest, I think. (I think he resembles Harry a lot in the red hat and fur coat picture).

Just going back to Sophie’s work, she does do a lot of smaller local stuff too, we are not too far from Bagshot where they live and she and Edward pop up fairly regularly around here, Sophie is patron ot two charities based in my town. But they are very low profile visits, make the local press but not the nationals.

Been meaning to post this double pic of Anne that I saw a couple of weeks ago, she really has aged beautifully and gracefully. Her hair colour is almost exactly the same as it was back then but doesn’t look dyed.
