Is this OK for DS's wedding?

It's a city registry office wedding for close family and friends in summer followed by a party for the wide extended family and friends in the evening. Emphasis is on casual and relaxed. I'm 57, five foot 1, size 12 on top, 14 on the bottom, blond hair and hazel eyes. I really like this, with possibly navy heels (not too high) and maybe a fuchsia bag - not hat/fascinator, might do a nice hair clip and low messy bun. What do you think? It's beautiful ! I would go for nude/pale dusky pink bag and shoes. The nude colours will make your legs look longer.

Lots to think about re bag and shoes. I love bright colours so I was leaning towards fuchsia and orange, but green and lighter blue would certainly also work. Gold is definitely a thought for the handbag - and maybe carry that through to a hair clip or comb thing for my bun? Would gold, navy and nude/pale dusky pink shoes work, or would I be better going for navy shoes if I have a gold bag?

Gorgeous dress, wish one of my kids would get married so that I had a reason to buy and wear it!

For my eldests wedding i has kirby grips with little flowers on in my hair it was in a low bun, maybe something you might like?

@SirChenjins it doesn't unfortunately... a quick image search says the bag is Miu Miu so probably ££££ !

@SirChenjins oh i haven"t got a photo of the back of my hair, i bought the pins from etsy if thats any help.

i wore a similar style navy dress to my brothers wedding with a light pink blazer and accessories and so I agree Pink or fushia will go well. I also wore navy sandels.

Either navy or nude, thanks to the suggestions on here. Can't be too high, and nothing open toed - I need to be able to walk over cobblestones

I think it’s ideal! And I would also go with navy shoes and use the bag to accessorise. I think that matching shoes and bags is a bit tacky.

I wouldn’t put flowers in hair - the dress is quite patterned so that’s enough - maybe some good earrings?
