Is this OK for DS's wedding?

It's a city registry office wedding for close family and friends in summer followed by a party for the wide extended family and friends in the evening. Emphasis is on casual and relaxed. I'm 57, five foot 1, size 12 on top, 14 on the bottom, blond hair and hazel eyes. I really like this, with possibly navy heels (not too high) and maybe a fuchsia bag - not hat/fascinator, might do a nice hair clip and low messy bun. What do you think? Absolutely love the dress. Wish I had an occasion coming up because I'd definitely buy it. Its gorgeous. I'd probably go gold or orange for a bag, though I really like the paler blue ones linked above.

The dress is really gorgeous. I wouldn’t do a bright pink bag though. I think navy and pink is bit of a MOB cliche. I really love the little floral one up thread. Or a pastel blue or metallic. You’ll find a lovely bag I’m sure. Have a fantastic time!

Nude heels rather than navy.
There's lots of lovely bags been suggested alreadly. I think orange or teal/turquoise rather than pink.
Hairband or simple updo with clip.
Will you be having a flower corsage/bag accessory/wristlet?

I wore a mainly navy dress for my daughter's wedding, it had a deep fuchsia pink in it's abstract pattern so I had a fuchsia handbag and it looked great!

I’d go for plain shoes and some sort of embroidered or embellished bag, maybe silver. No fascinator because the dress is already quite busy.

My only concern about the dress is that there’s quite a lot of skin on show.

Beautiful dress. I don't think fuchsia pink will compliment the dress and might look tacky. Metallic would more classy imo.

I always come on here expecting to hate the dress - but this is lovely. I am the same height as you so might be cautious that the hem hits at the right length but a heel will help.

As a fellow short person, absolutely love that dress. Wish I had somewhere to wear it!

I think it will be perfect, my only suggestion would be nude heels as this lengthens the legs. Otherwise I thing it’s perfect.

That's absolutely gorgeous! I think fuscia or gold would compliment it perfectly.
Is there a specific colour scheme for the wedding? Could you find a bag to match that perhaps?
