What cup size do you think this is? (not an obscene photo)

Hoping that the picture won't get blocked (it's just taken from the skims website). I am about to have a breast reduction for medical reasons and am struggling to visualise what the various sizes will actually look like - clearly I appreciate I'm not going to look like the model!!

In my head this is about a C?

Im trying to see what a B would look like. I'm a size 10.

Cup sizes change volume in relation to band size. I'd say 26DD. She has a tiny frame.

Id guessed her at a 30C

A size 10 should be a 32 band and 34" over the breast measurement for a B cup I think - not sure whether you could mock that up somehow with balled paired socks to get an idea!

Although tbh it depends whether you are a size 10 to accommodate the breasts you have but actually a size 6 back! Have a look at aome measurement tables on websites that sell a brand of bra you wear and do some measurementing...

She could be something like a 28/30 E, or even a 26 band like a pp said. I’m a 30 F but don’t have obviously massive boobs, it’s only when i wear certain tops that people even notice them!

I would say your photo is a DD depending on band size

She is bigger than me in the bust and slimmer in the frame. I’m a 30DD, I’d say she could easily be a 28E/F

My DD cups are small, I often wear bralets and don’t wear a sports bra for running.

I’d say about a 28DD, as PP have said cup volume decreases with band size so a DD cup on a 36 band will be bigger than a DD cup on a 28 band. Maybe go to a bra fitting shop and look at the smaller size bras? A 28/30 band and then look at the cup sizes, I think you’ll find a B is a lot smaller than you think it is.

Depends if your consultant uses boob or bust measurements (as provided by several PP above) or traditional measurements.

I think this might be non UK - perhaps American - because of the triple letter sizes. Bra sizes are a minefield internationally - for example a UK "G" cup is a US "E", an EU "H" and an Australian "FF" ...

I actually think people are underestimating here. I was a 28E when I left school (I know because I went to Bravisdimo to get a bra for prom 🤣) and I was pretty petite all over.

Depends what your size is under bust, I"m quite large because of a big frame and ribcage 35" so take a 36C bra. I'm size 14. The model in the photo is probably at most 30" under bust so is probably about DD even though she is probably slightly smaller than my C cup.

Traditional sizing I'd say she's a 30C. Similar proportions to me but much slimmer.

What is your under bust measurement, OP

Under the breast around my body Im measuring 31 inches. Around the boob in my widest area Im measuring 38 inches (but my boobs are currently very saggy) - Im 53

The surgeon has said I'd have a B cup.

30DD - looks very similar to my size pre children. I'm now a 30C and a lot smaller than the picture.
