I find it frustrating that TCB rarely works as it should. I have about 10 claims in at the minute for various retailers.

I think it's the retailers who are greedy. They advertise that they're part of the TCB scheme but then reject the claims 😡

@OvaHere I would send them a screenshot of your Liberty orders or bank statement which shows the amount debited, to prove you kept your offers, TCB can then challenge them.
If you don’t have any joy with it (though you should), I’d contact Liberty CS and ask them to look into it. If you spend a lot with them, they would be foolish to try to diddle you out of a few quid

Just had an email from Victoria Beckham Beauty - 20% off for V suite members. VBB rarely does significant discounts so popular stuff will go quick I expect.

How do you become a v suite member? I've bought quite a lot but I don't think I'm a member. I certainly haven't received an email 😭 probably a good thing though as I really don't need anything else.

Not sure. I've only bought a couple of eyeliners ages ago. The loyalty scheme only started recently so I think I must have been added to it. I'm not buying anything. Slightly tempted to try out the eyeshadow but they are still expensive even with the discount and none of the colours are anything I don't already have in some form apart from the blue which I wouldn't wear

@BakeOffRewatch I've only tried the Goat milk cleanser and moisturiser. I like both, the cleanser is a fave. Shame that isn't the full size.

Regards VBB … last Black Friday-ish they did an excellent freebie of an eye shadow pencil with any order. Worked with new customer discount too. I ordered a lip balm (which I love) and got the freebie - it’s amazing. Absolutely idiot proof to apply and very very long wearing.

May be an alternative option to the discount now?

On a side note all purchases used to come in a cute drawstring pouch - a good quality one too - but I don’t think they do anymore as noticed that was a GWP a few weeks ago. Such a shame as that little bonus really added something for gifts.

Can I ask a question about Alpha-H? I got an email about Alpha-H having 20% off sitewide, so off I went to have a look at their Liquid Gold and I'm sorely tempted, is it the packaging, the luxe look, am I a sheep? But then I looked at the ingredients and it's got 5% glycolic acid... whilst The Ordinary's glycolic acid is 7%.

100ml Alpha-H Liquid Gold 5% glycolic acid, ph 2.8-3 - £35.20 with 20% code SKINCARE20
100ml TO 7% glycolic acid, ph 3.6 - £7.70

I have TO glycolic acid already, I use it on my legs after waxing to prevent ingrown hairs. Is it the same product, more or less?

So after making peace with cancelling my Commodity pre order from yonks ago and them responding saying they would refund the bloody thing has now turned up this afternoon. It still shows as not shipped in my account. I'll keep it but now I'm annoyed because I'd come around to the idea that I totally didn't need it right now. Can't be faffed with returning. Ugh.

I've just started using the Intensive Exfoliating treatment for the first time and I have to say I absolutely love it, maybe even more than Dermalogica Microdermabrasion, which has been my staple for years. I might get this box to try some of the other bits too.

Update to missing TCB from Liberty. They (TCB) have come back on two of the orders to say normally they would dispute this with the retailer but as a gesture of goodwill they've credited my account themselves. This strikes me as odd as surely it's Liberty in the wrong here as the orders were not in anyway cancelled or returned.

I've got a 3rd Liberty one still pending so not sure what will happen with that.

I have been feeling very sorry for myself today. I dropped my Medik8 C-Tetra this morning and spilled 2/3 of the bottle 😫 I was devastated, I know that sounds strong but I also know I’m in good company and you’ll understand 😌
I have really been enjoying using it and was hoping to reign in my spending now ahead of needing to buy Christmas presents for other people.
Had it been the hyaluronic acid I wouldn’t have minded so much as I have another 3 bottles of that! Typical.

On a brighter note, my QVC Elemis order has arrived

@Thelifeofawife I've done that before. I try to avoid dropper bottles where possible because I'm so clumsy with them. I lost most of my Skinceuticals Vit C sample and a third of my Niod FECC that way. Hugely frustrating.

I’m usually so careful, I was sleep deprived and just knocked it into the bath - I’m fairly sure that the remains have some bubbles in from my earlier shower too but I refuse to throw it away 🙈😅

You reminded me to check my emails for my missing TCB. I’ve had a message about my HN BAC purchase, they said it didn’t track even though they know my journey started via TCB, I sent a response in the hope that they take pity on me. What a day 🫠

I'm still pondering the glycolic acid situation. Do I need Liquid Gold from alpha h?

I did that with the mini we got in one of the beauty drop boxes. I was gutted. Big sympathy to you
