I really like medik8. I think the products are great and it's not overly expensive. Like ova, I really like the crystal retinol range, I also like the spf moisturiser, great for if you don't want to load your face with too many creams.

They were around before all this influencers nonsense.
They are a very sensible brand with proper products that work.
I am committed to their Advanced Liquid Peptides serum (inspired from a link for the sample on here when it launched). Their retinal range is very good and I like that it is a gradual strength. I use tretinoin so don't need it myself.
I always gift Medik8 products when I don't know what to buy as an attention where I have an obligation or for my friends. Because I know they'll actually like the gift if they decide to use it.
Try some samples first and see how you get on. Unfortunately it can be a bit of an investment if you become addicted.

Just opened my JL beauty boxes and Flannels fragrance boxes. I’m so impressed. They were all a real bargain 🤩

Medik8 is fantastic. The crystal retinal and liquid peptides are very effective and have transformed my skin. There was a thread a while ago where brands were discussed and Medik8 was given solid reviews. It prompted me to try it and I’m so glad I did.

Also a Medik8 fan. Nobody talks about it much but I completely rely on their Calmwise green moisturiser to knock back redness. Multiple rebuys even though there are cheaper options out there. It’s just totally reliable and effective for me, and zero irritation 💚

I also love Medik8! I’m almost out of Liquid Peptides and the only reason I’m not immediately getting more is because I have lots of serum samples and minis to use! Come New Year I will be rebuying…

I'm a fan of the Next boxes, in fact I've picked up another 2 today, the Treat Yourself one (£25) and the Fragrance one (£18). I'll gift some of the products. The L'Occitane foot cream retails at £29 so that box was a bargain. The warm vanilla sugar spray is £18, so the rest of the fragrance box is basically free 🙂

Another fan of Medik8. I have repurchased the B5 Intense serum many times, and have just discovered their Tetra-C serum which I will repurchase when I run out.
I’ve just bought the John Lewis beauty box so I can try the moisturiser

They are great value, but I have many of the products already (not yet used) so I can’t justify it.
I still have Next beauty crackers from last Christmas 🙈😅

Same to me, Liberty did a founder’s last year and the beauty edits in Christmas season, and Cult Beauty is the regular cadence of kits. Don’t follow others too closely. Maybe next is doing more? There’s certainly a lot more traffic on the boards here this year.

I was in Liberty today and took some photos, they’ve taken over a corner of the store. They then blocked off the Carnaby street entrance for Violette_FR launch event. Not sure which thread to post it on 🤣. Was going to post on Liberty. They do skincare as well.

@TragicMuse you're living life on the edge there! I cannot imagine not having a spare new advance liquid peptides serum for when I finish a bottle. In fact I have 2 spares. Most grateful to have discovered it on here. One of my 'must take to old people's home with me for personal use - not for bartering' products.

I just opened the the new Medik8 Vit C serum this morning. It was next in my stash to try in the hunt for the best Vit C. Obviously I've only used it once but so far I'm liking it.

I've discovered I just don't like the watery ones like Skinceuticals. I've just used up a Drunk Elephant one that was similar and couldn't wait for that to be finished.

Does anyone know if the Paula's Choice Booster Vit C is one of the hotdog water types? I've got one of those from a gwp but will pass it on if it is.

It’s quite watery and it stinks, not just when you’ve just put it on but hours later. My daughter asked me why I smelt of metal. Not as bad a smell as the Skinceuticals sample I had though 🤮
