That's good, I love when things sell fast 🤑 I've never tried anything from the good girl range, the bottles are gorgeous though 😍

Ordered my mojave ghost absolu from byredo, after some initial fuss with the code which didn't work so they had to send me another one. It was £150 off so £40 to pay which I was expecting. It let me add 2 samples so I got BDA absolu and MG absolu.
Will get back to sampling the discovery kit now I'm back home but I want to make this one last and do it slowly.

I’ve just been on the CH website looking at the advents that I won’t buy as too many charms/mens frag, but I noticed a Good Girl mystery box that’s tempting me. Their samples and extras are always good too

That tempted me too you won't be surprised to hear, but it has a 30ml good girl and u already have a 50ml. I prefer very good girl. I also think mystery boxes are a way for them to get rid of shite stock eg a really weird lipstick colour nobody bought, so I thought nah.

Sote is Killian apple brandy. Liking this. Don't usually like apple as a note but this is less apple more brandy. Lots of cinnamon too I think.

I am going to go with Jo Malone Sandlewood and Spiced Apricot today I think. Office day and I can take the small bottle with me to top up. Still in cardamom vanilla sandlewood zone

This morning I’ve gone for Charlotte Tilbury Cosmic Power 🔮💫 and it’s perfect for Halloween 👻🎃🕸️

It’s my first time wearing this one (a little treasure from my HBeauty day), and I love how it feels mysterious, magical and a little witchy 🧙🪄 it's sweet, spicy, slightly smoky and completely addictive. It’s the kind of scent that feels like casting a glamorous spell before coffee 😍

Room service has poor reviews on fragrantica so I've listed it. Blue talisman i wasn't keen on the edp, smells like citronella is in there, so its another one I've listed.
I tend to read the reviews/ scent profiles and keep any that sound good.

I don't find reviews all that good for predicting whether I will like something. From the description/reviews I expect to really love something, then I'm disappointed when I try it on me. Not so much the other way around, but maybe that's because I avoid trying ones I think I won't like.

SOTD is MMM Replica Under the Stars. Back on the leather theme. Quite smoky so far although not as smoky as their BTF. It's supposed to evoke sitting round a campfire in the Namibian desert.

Now this (Under the Stars) has settled down, the leather and oud are more prominent. I would like to smell this on a man: I think it would be wonderful. Fragrantica reviews are quite marmite. I'm not getting the rubber tyre smell some mention.

I would probably wear this more for evenings rather than day time, although I only have a tiny sample but I wouldn't mind getting more. It's definitely in the Jazz Club / By the Fireplace family.

SOTD is CH Good Girl Blush. I have a 7ml that I wasn’t keen on at first compared to the others, but it’s growing on me

SOTD is the last of my Diptyque Fleur De Peau sample. Really fell in love with this and bought a bigger one in the recent Liberty event.

Trying to stick with the halloween theme 🎃💫 and gone for Maison crivelli cuir infrarouge for this afternoon, it's warm, smoky and spicy and a little bit bewitching 🧙🪄🔮

and it lasts for days!

Did you get the bergamot in the opening? I didn't, and very little raspberry.

SOTD Blanche Bete - was my purchase on liberty 20% off day plus beauty drop credit. I love it - creamy, vanilla, milky, musk only thing is for me it lasts only a couple of hours so need to spritz during the day.

I was actually looking forward to coming home and getting back to velvet aura. I would go as far as saying it is my favourite find of the year! I may need a back up - it just feels so easy to love.

I love Blanche Bete, I think it's my favourite perfume, I'm still eking out the sample size from last years F&M BAC.

I've been spending far too much on beauty and perfumes so my last purchase this year (she says...) is FS wild vanilla orchid 50ml which is half price at boots at the moment.

Afnan cherry bouquet tonight which is a pretty decent dupe of TF lost cherry. But at £40 for 80ml it's like 1/20 of the price.

Jazz club by replica maison margiela today. This is a lovely slightly smokey slightly sweet vanilla..perfect for the time of year.

I've ordered the Essence Deluxe discovery box on the perfume society website (shared on the advent calendar thread), and I also signed up to the subscription box. I've just noticed on the confirmation email that I was only charged for the subscription box 🤔

@JoRaRaRa The Perfume Society boxes usually only have tiny samples but that Essence Deluxe box does look good. I had a discount code from them, so I've ordered it.

What is father figure like? I have got it but not decided yet whether to sell or keep it.

I'd describe it as quite sweet, light, and uplifting, it's quite sunny and modern and feels perfect for a fresh, crisp autumn morning. It’s not cosy like some of my other favourites, so it doesn't make you want to curl up under a blanket, it's still warm, but I'd say it's more of an up and about scent. Sorry, that probably doesn't help, but I really like it and can only say what it makes me think / feel 😊 I'm no good with notes etc.
