Trainers for autumn/winter

What’s on your target list? What colour/style?

I’m very aware my barefoot in Birkenstock days are numbered and my trainers are too “summer”. I have white Nike AF1 (yeah yeah I know but they’re comfy), pale blue Nike running shoes and light turquoise adidas (can’t remember the style but not samba or gazelle, but similar)
Theyre not going to work with my winter clothes (dark neutrals like most ), so what colour trainers should I look at? I’m at a blank! Oh -I can’t wear Adidas gazelles

So much inspiration on this thread and brands I’d never have considered! I’ve ordered 10 pairs to try with the intention of returning 9….(well maybe 8 😂) amd I’ll feedback with how I get on!

Inspired by this thread, I tried on the Hoff Dallas yesterday. Very comfy soles but a tad narrow for me as the leather bit started right at the same point as my bunion. Oh to have young feet again!

I must confess I'm no longer a fan of leather or suede; I'm a total Skechers convert, I must have 30 pairs, not because I'm an inveterate shopper (honest) but because they wash like a dream and come out of the 30 degree experience like new every time. They don't care that my feet have suddenly totally changed shape, they come in lots of styles, not just the "rolling eyes OMG not Skechers" wide fronts, the colours are beautiful...and now I'm fast developing a taste for Skechers boots too. I know they're laughed at by those who are too young to know better young and fashion forward, but, you know, one day you'll thank me 😄
