Im not much help but I LOVE it. Im really into those sleeves right now. I think that would would look better with brown boots than the black the model is wearing. I have some blouses with those type of sleeves and I wear sleeveless jackets with them. I have one in brown and one in blue.

I’ve seen this in store a couple of times and really like it but I get bloody cold and I’d need long sleeves underneath it which would ruin the look 😭
It’s a nice dress though, I do think brown goes nicely with denim.

Surely, as its denim, you expect it to go with pretty much anything, like a pair of jeans? Isn’t that the point of it?

I’m a sucker for a denim dress, this one is lovely. I’ve got a pair of light tan ankle boots, they go great with all my dresses, 😊

Agree with everyone else- nice dress and I would wear with ankle boots. I’ve got some wine red ones with a slight heel that would also look nice with it. Plus black and brown.

And for now I’d wear it with trainers as it’s not cold enough for boots .
And ….humph …it’s sold out online in my size as blooming usual .
They never have my size in store either (3 M&S stores that have clothing that I can get to , even if 2 aren’t that easy to get to )

It's nice, it wouldn't suit me but if you have have the height, great. I think it would look nice with a loose fitting waistcoat and boots, alternatively you could wear it with trainers and thin long line cardi.

Why would you need ‘height’ to wear the dress, @ToadRage? Even if one didn’t get the Petite it’s an easy dress to have altered, either at the waist or hem.

And a long line cardigan would completely negate the cut of the dress - making it ineffably dowdy.

I have some tan suede knee high boots I wear with it but I think most knee high or cowboy style boots would work.

Seeing as only size 12 and 14 are left in stock you should probably order both then return one (as the other size will soon be out of stock)!

I would style it with my converse at the moment (maybe dark red, grey or pink) and switch to my boots with cosy tights for more chilly days. It’s a lovely dress OP.

Because it's a midi dress and midi dresses do not suit short people. Even if you alter it to fit, the midi style just stops in totally the wrong place making a short person look even shorter.

Completely sold out in petite ... as usual! They say in their size guide that their regular height is cut to 5'6". I guess they make the majority of their dresses in regular. But it's not a shop for young women, so maybe a significant number of their customers are under 5'6" and they need to make far more petite clothes.

Tan suede boots, ankle boots or chunky suede sandals.

I'm tall and most sizes in stock but have ordered both.

Looks really versatile in terms of shoes / jackets but can't see a cardigan working due to the puffed sleeve... Fur gilet would be nice in winter.

Glad to see this post because I was wearing a very similar dress yesterday that I got from charity shop for £5! (also M&S)
I had to dash about so had trainers on, but if I was trying to be smarter then I agree with others that brown/tan boots would be good.
