Ideal world is or was a shopping channel, Ive bought stuff from there before. I thought they closed down

MapWall · 21/08/2025 19:39

What’s your budget OP?

MapWall · 21/08/2025 19:49

OP, if you like them that’s all that matters. I think people are being unnecessarily rude here. I don’t own loafers because they don’t suit me. But if they do suit you, then go for it. Maybe you could wear them with a navy fitted dress, or even a shorter skirt and top. I’m sure you can make them work. Don’t dress for other people, choose your own clothes and shoes that make you feel good.

And clothes are like baby names. You should not ask people’s opinions before they arrive. People are usually less harsh once the clothes or baby have arrived!

awful awful awful

333FionaG · 22/08/2025 10:28

I like the pink floral flats and I am tempted to get a pair. I'm aware I'm in the minority! They are pretty and will go with lots of different outfits.

mochimoons · 22/08/2025 10:51

They are very granny-ish but there are cool versions of this so I think it just really depends. I like the Dr Marten ones but they are much more bold.

ThisSnappyDenimNewt · 22/08/2025 11:00

I think these are lovely! Love the tan sole

UpMyself · 22/08/2025 11:08

I expected some horrible loafers, but those are stylish driving shoes. I'm not keen on the colours, but the lilac is better than the blue.

AddMoreGarlic · 22/08/2025 11:46

The pink floral ones look pretty fun, OP.
Lots of unnecessary hyperbole about how ugly they are whilst giving some proper grandad looking recommendations.

ruethewhirl · 22/08/2025 13:05

I think they're fun, OP! If you're drawn to them, go for it - life's too short not to wear something fun if you want to.

That said, personally I (lifelong fan of quirky fashion) prefer the styles pps have been posting. Gutted those Rocket Dogs aren't available in my size!

PeonyPatch · 22/08/2025 13:07

If granny chic is your vibe….

LadySuzanne · 22/08/2025 13:17

I'd wear the navy ones but not the floral ones.

I could just about see me wearing these:

The pink flowery are fantastic go get them xx

WhatterySquash · 22/08/2025 22:29

I like bright shoes and I like floral prints but... somehow the combination makes them look like slippers.

ChocolateCinderToffee · 23/08/2025 14:44

In my 60s and I wouldn't wear them, sorry.

Wimbledonmum1985 · 23/08/2025 21:41

Good god. An abomination.

anon666 · 24/08/2025 08:25

Ooh no. Ugh. Sorry OP. Anything but them.

I got a pair of moshulu slippers as they were top of the mumsnet recommended list. I sent them back. I just couldn't.
