What do you think - yeah or nay?

I would wear floral shoes but not loafers. I have a couple of pairs of patterned papillio Arizonas which I love and I’ve also got a pair of floral DMs which don’t get as much wear as they should.

So it’s a nay from me but purely because they are loafers.

I had shoes like those when I was around 9 and my heart instantly sang when I saw them.

I love them.

But it’s hard to be objective due to the nostalgia, so I’m not sure.

I like them 🤷🏼‍♂️

If they make you smile, they are good for you OP.
I'd wear them - they go with loads.
I don't follow fashion though and love colour. I dress in what I like, not other people's preferences.

I liked the look of those loafers too. But I've got an instinct now that if something is in an attractive, trendy-but-classic style, it's usually a bit dodge. Like Shein; their designs often catch my eye on google searches, until I check the brand. Wish 'legit' brands would take note - this is what the punters want!

I meant you don't need to even check Trust Pilot. The website is obviously dodgy- masses of stock, everything on sale at vastly reduced prices, lots of waffle "about" them and zero hard facts.

I'm going against the grain - I like them!

@JamesWebbSpaceTelescope , I don't like them but I don't like loafers and I don't like pink, but they do look fun and they are a brand that is much loved on here.

They just don't seem that versatile to me. You've either got to do pretty neutral everywhere else, which would get boring pretty quick, or you have to go full Su Pollard - you'd need lots of pink/patterned stuff to match and/or clash.

I'm trying to reduce the number of shoes I own as they take up space and less practical ones end up sitting unworn for years.

Loafers are an absolute abomination of a shoe - even 20 year old models wearing them look like they've been prescribed orthopaedic footwear as they're recovering from a bunion op.
