Clearer picture of these here. Although I don't think BD is correct in all her product guesses. One of the skincare items looks like an AB mini to me.

Yeah the website isn’t right. I’d rather have a proper release than a photo and misinformation. The second photo doesn’t show By Terry but ICONIC.

Yeah, I agree, definitely looks like an AB mini, which has certainly peaked my interest 🤣 Both boxes look nice, but I reckon they'll come out next week when I'm on my hols. Probably a good thing really if I want to get the HN fragrance advent calendar at the end of the month.

Boots have a YSL gwp on a £70+ spend. It looks like it's just an empty YSL pouch. Has anyone taken up the offer? I'd hoped there would be some products in the pouch, but it doesn't look like there are judging by the info.

JL have quite a nice GWP on spends of £80+ on Clarins.

TragicMuse · 17/09/2025 23:00

I have a £10 SNK voucher to use before the end of the month. Don’t know what to buy with it! I’ve also got £5 of points and the intro 20% off for first website purchase.

Any ideas for how to maximise this?!

I suppose I could get the hourglass palette after all, but however gorgeous it is as an object I just don’t think I’d use it.

If you don't want to use it against a 'big' purchase and spend a lot of extra money what about a really nice lipstick or some lux body wash that would mean only putting a few £ towards once voucher and discounts are applied?

I'm the same. I have £15 that runs out in Nov. I'm hoping for a good edit. I did nearly sucumb to adveng but I won't use a lot of it and can be mithered selling on. So waste of money. 🤷 I have some edits untouched so need to get them looked at first. ♥️

I had a huge £5 reward from SNK that was due to expire. I went in-store and put it towards the purchase of the very gloopy Caribbean shimmery body oil.

Body oil is my new obsession, as I am always trying to soften my very dry legs. It’s weird - the rest of my skin is quite soft and - though I do say so myself, in pretty good condition- but I am frequently horrified by the dryness of my legs.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I have industrial quantities of lotions and oils but nothing seems to really sink in😿

The Naturium body butter is very nice. It's often on offer on their Amazon store and you can also usually get it cheaper by doing subscribe and save then later cancelling.

That said I don't have very dry skin so I don't know if it's any better than what you've tried already.

Thanks @OvaHere - I will check that out. It’s just the area between below the knee and above the ankle, (feet are fine!) that’s in need of some serious TLC!

I used an Ameliorate one that was from a GWP or edit that was brilliant. I think it was the transforming lotion. Very no frills but really softened my scaly shins.
I'd re-buy if I didn't have a hundred body lotions to use up.

IlovePond · 18/09/2025 14:32

Sounds promising @PinkArt - thanks!

John Lewis have two new edits out. Both slightly underwhelming. I quite like the winter skin one and do like the Medik8 moisturiser and rituals salt scrub but I think £70 is a bit steep for it?

I like the R&R one and have been specifically wanting some more of that foot lotion. However I could buy the foot lotion from Amazon or wherever for £22 when my current inferior foot cream runs out so not not sure a whole box justifies it even if some of the other stuff is nice to have.

Has anyone tried the Huda Easy Bake Setting spray? I got one as a Sephora reward. It was supposed to be the travel size but they sent me the 100ml full size.

I've seen mixed reviews on it and I'm not sure if it will be any good for dry prone skin. It's not one I would have bought but was going to give it a go as a travel size freebie. Now I've got the full size I'm debating putting it on Vinted.

I'm using Charlotte Tilbury currently which seems nice and in a couple of months when that's running out I'll have the Milk one to try from the SNK calendar. So I'm not lacking in setting spray and I'm wary of using it once, hating it, then not knowing what to do with it. I suppose this could apply to the Milk one too but I've had more success with Milk products for my skin type than anything by Huda.

The HG palettes have landed at CB and in JL. Typical that they arrive the day after Quidco’s cashback offer!

Evergreen21 · 19/09/2025 11:34

@OvaHere I've got one in one of the calendars I've bought but not tried it yet. I already have the milk one, I think it was from one of the edits I had purchased. I've got another in one of the advent calendars too. It's ok, definitely hydrating but not one I'd repurchase if I'm honest. I prefer the MAC one or the Makeup forever mist and fix spray for longevity. I used the Makeup forever one whilst on holiday in Morocco and may makeup didn't budge in 35 degree heat. I did use it in conjunction with the rodial primer which was fab.

OvaHere · 19/09/2025 13:44

Thanks @Evergreen21 I've seen the MAC one recommended a lot so it's on my list to try at some point.

If the MILK one is hydrating I'll probably get along with that one even if it's not the best one out there. I'll ponder some more over the Easy Bake but I'm leaning to not keeping that one.

Thank you @IlovePondI have ordered the Deer HG palette.

IlovePond · 20/09/2025 07:26

So pretty @Isabelle70 - please let us know how you get on with it. I almost cracked yesterday but am planning a visit to the palettes irl this week!

Hi , can someone please help me prove I am not going mad ( or maybe confirm it ) .. I am sure there was a link somewhere either on this thread or the advent one .. of the new LIB low key luxe box , plus a discount code for that or perhaps some of the other boxes .
I have searched everywhere on MN including my browsing history and it’s disappeared!

I liked the box and am seriously considering it but don’t want to miss out on a code . Thank you !!
