Hi! Does anyone know when the Cult Beauty Flight Mode Edit comes out?

It hasn’t been announced but they are advertising something holiday related launching on the 9th so am hoping it the new edit.

I bought the M&S bag today. They’d sold out in the morning, and sold me the one in the display case. I really like the perfumes, Floral Street “Electric Rhubarb” and M&S “Discover Sweet Frangipani”.

BlueLimes · 07/06/2025 22:06

@BakeOffRewatch I’m hoping to get one tomorrow 🤞

OvaHere · 07/06/2025 22:12

I tested out the new Elf SPF 50 skin tint today. Wore it for about 12hrs and it was still looking good when i took it off. I'm pretty impressed with it.

I wouldn't rely on it for soley for sun protection but as far as the finish and longevity go it's good. It's not as dewy as something like the Milk Skin tint but it's not matte either.

It's a bit more expensive at £16 than other Elf bases (Soft Glam foundation was £8) but it's a lot cheaper than my other favourites Milk and Hourglass.

Only downside is that I couldn't find it in store last week, tried Boots and Superdrug, so I had to buy online and ended up buying two because I couldn't decide between shades.

If anyone was thinking about trying it I can recommend. Hopefully it will be in stores soon to shade test.

I'm pale with cool/neutral undertones and I bought FairCool and FairNeutral. I think I can make both work but FairCool is my preferred shade.

@OvaHere Thank you for your review, I like the Milk tint and plan on picking this up at half the price.
Re shades, do you use Dior and if so what shade are you? I am fair to medium with neutral undertone so trying to work out whether to get fair-neutral or light-neutral.

OvaHere · 07/06/2025 22:50

@MrsBnow12 Only Dior foundation I've used was the Forever Glow and I think that was shade 00N but I don't think that was best match on me just the closest from what was on offer. I always felt it was a tad too pale and leaned a little yellow.

In the Milk skin tint I buy shade 2 and I find that to be good.

OvaHere · 07/06/2025 22:59

To add I would say the fair shades are fair. You might be best with the light colour just on the basis I wouldn't ever describe myself as fair - medium so it sounds like your tone is a bit darker than mine. Really hard to tell without testing though.

I picked up the M & S bag today as an eid treat to myself and got another two for my mum and mil. I've used a couple of the items before and was happy with the price. There were loads in the store I went to (located in a shopping centre) on display and by the tills. Staff were upselling too.

TonerNeedsReplacing · 08/06/2025 09:24

I loved the look of Elf Halo glow but I sadly found it broke me out so ultimately went in the bin. From the internet this seems quite common. From looking at ingredient checkers it looks like the new skin tint would likely be that same for me.

OvaHere · 08/06/2025 10:13

That's a shame @TonerNeedsReplacing probably not worth the risk.

@Pickled21 I'm getting FOMO over the M&S bag. Silly because there's nothing in it I really want although the perfumes sound quite nice. Too late though because I go on holiday in the morning so no time to trip off to the shops.

Lots of bits and pieces from the M&S bag have been showing up on Vinted, @OvaHere I only wanted the REN sunscreen and managed to pick one up for £3 plus p&p.

BlueLimes · 08/06/2025 15:27

@OvaHere i resisted m. and s, I thought nothing I really need. So pleased to resist - don’t normally. I think they’ll be a better kit soon !

JulyM85 · 08/06/2025 15:42

Anyone else tempted to buy Revolve's beauty bag?

Anyone else tempted to buy Revolve's beauty bag?

What's in it and how much? When I googled I got a link to a sold out bag- not sure if it’s the same product.

JulyM85 · 08/06/2025 18:35

Yeah, and there’s a promo code for 15% off BASIC15. Pretty good deal.

diddlydooda · 08/06/2025 19:36

I like the M&S one, although I mainly got it as I needed a new mascara anyway and there is one in there. I already have the large version of the frangipani perfume so I'll give that away but the rhubarb is nice. The body wash seems good and I'll try the hair stuff next week. I also need some more spf for my holiday in August. So all in all it was probably a reasonable deal.

I’ve got like 13 mascaras from random beauty boxes, and loads of highlighters and eyeliners too.

MathsFiend · 08/06/2025 22:35

I got the m&s kit because the estee lauder mascara is tubing, which you don't usually get in one of these kits

Addictedtobeauty · 08/06/2025 22:42

I have FOMO over the M&S kit. I tried two stores today and neither had it. I am really missing M&S online shopping! I’d have had it ordered on release day but was working until today so no chance to buy before.

Addictedtobeauty · 08/06/2025 22:48

The tour of shopping centres did include a H beauty first recycle- very straightforward- they don’t take perfume bottles but do take shampoo/conditioner. Also dropped off my recycling at Boots and ended up spending £20 to collect my £5 reward. I need to streamline that!

FlipperSkipper · 09/06/2025 09:30

I really like the hair oil in the M&S bag, and the rhubarb perfume. It’s all stuff that will get used.

For the boots recycling, do you have to use your code for the points on the same day you drop them off? I have a lot of medication blister packs to recycle!

ajandjjmum · 09/06/2025 16:36

Went into M & S the day it was launched, and got carried away with buying other stuff and forgot the bag. Been back today and there's none left!
