Blimey!

I know 2024 earliest was Liberty AC preview for pre orders on 27th June.

I think PLouise products are manufactured in China so I do understand the lead times. They will need to order in bulk well in advance and probably want to figure out demand, at least from their core base who buy one every year. If you want to start shipping to customers from September then May is about right. I bet for most companies that do a big advent calendar the planning starts again in January.

Has anyone bought from Notino before? Is it legit?

The one star reviews would put me off. I mean, everyone gets some poor reviews, which I take with a pinch of salt, but not like this.

Thanks @HolidayHattie - I think I’ll pay a couple of quid extra for peace of mind.

HolidayHattie · 24/05/2025 15:04

Yes, some of the reviews say products are well out of date and have gone off, others that they are fake and don't smell like the real thing, and all agree that customer service is terrible for returns and refunds.

Growlybear83 · 24/05/2025 15:11

I’ve used Notino a couple of times and while delivery is a bit slow, their prices are good, they’ve got a really wide selection of quite hard to find things, and I’ve not had a problem with them.

MrsBnow12 · 24/05/2025 15:59

I am sure I read somewhere that PLouise we’re having delivery issues with the US due to their new tariffs so maybe they are trying to get an idea of demand.
@OvaHere Thanks for the BBC info, I have ordered along with the Hen edit as has been eyeing up the brush and Maria Nila but did not want to pay postage.

That's a good deal for the brush. I bought that one a while ago from LF or similar. Probably cost as much as that edit alone.

I’ve had no problems at all with Notino. Brought mostly perfumes, all definitely genuine.

OvaHere · 25/05/2025 22:20

LF have some good BH deals. I know a few of us like the KS Goat Milk cleanser. They have 2 x 120ml for £51.29 using code EXTRA10 (on top of the 25% discount) which makes them just over £25 each - usually £39 each full price.

Edit to add the Goat Milk plus Exfolikate duo is also on the same offer.

I got excited when I saw an email from Cult Beauty this morning promising a “free gift worth £340”. Very disappointed to learn it’s a La Prairie set you get if you spend £350 on La Prairie 😕

OvaHere · 27/05/2025 11:15

Allbeauty have 50% of Shiseido at the moment.

I know their suncream is quite popular, both the body and the face SPF come in at under £20 on this offer.

Benefiance Eye Cream is another popular one. That's half price with an extra 10% off with the code WEEKEND.

I much prefer last year’s travel essentials edit to this Flight mode version- I doubt I’ll buy this one.

Not too excited about this one but may pick it up if it's cheap enough/I have vouchers.

Thanks for the heads up! I've added myself to the waitlist. This might be a bit mask-heavy for my tastes but I really like the look of a couple of other products so may well be tempted if the price is right and I can get any offers to work!

Completely depends on the price. I agree that it’s a few too many single use products for it to be a summer blockbuster kit, the SPF is only 20ml. I was hoping for something that would get me through summer like last year’s kit. I’m upto my ears in make up bags from kits. This one is really good if you don’t have it, it lays flat and its shape means it holds all sorts of products and zips up!

@Addictedtobeauty I’m a bit late to the party but I’ve used Notino a few times and had no issues. I’ve purchased make up, hair care products, SDJ products.
I haven’t tried to return anything so can’t comment on that but delivery was reasonable

Thank you for posting that link! When I clicked it, I had a code pop up for £15 off, which I managed to use on an unrelated purchase (T-shirt and a packet of socks). It only seemed to work when there were two items in the basket but didn't seem to matter what they were. Worth checking the link to see if others get it!

Nope doesn't work for me. How strange! Very happy for you though.

Since I posted the link they've added a new fragrance box that is quite nice for £22

Elf are launching a Halo Glow Skin Tint SPF 50 soon. Will be very interested to try this out as I like the original Halo Glow. I'm expecting it to be similar to the Milk Skin Tint which I love but is on the pricier side at £32. Elf I guess will be around £10.

Thank you- I’ve just bought the summer fragrance edit - good price and my DD will love it.
