@Ladedahlia Liberty BD July

I’m also tempted to sign up to Liberty BD.
I am keen on this years advent calendar but begrudge paying the extra £25 as a non-subscriber. The DB seems a good deal

That glossybox is a brilliant deal with the medik8 c-tetra! Thanks @OvaHere

Weirdly it's the body spray that tempts me. It's probably not a very expensive product but the bottle makes it look like it would smell lush. 😄

I do not need any more though so I shall sit on my hands and live vicariously through others.

Those are just the two products I want from the bag! 🥲

MathsFiend · 08/08/2025 23:11

Just tried it, but charges postage so real price is £33

Cross posting from the advent thread

In case it's of interest to anyone I signed up to the Anthropologie waitlist and competition to win an advent calendar a couple of days ago. To do this they make you sign up properly and join their loyalty programme.
This morning they sent me a welcome voucher for £20 off an order. Can only be used on full price items and not with any other offer but there is no minimum spend. Voucher was valid until 09/10. Doesn't say anything about excluding the advent calendar.
Anyway I bought something for £20 which I got for free and just paid the £3.95 postage.

@OvaHere Thanks for the Glossybox discount for the summer bag, I had my eye on this a while ago. Snapped one up now! I mainly want the beach bag, the Medik8 c-tetra and the body spray, and I’ll share the other bits with my DSD or hold them back for stocking fillers for her

IlovePond · 09/08/2025 11:20

Hi, SpaceNK are giving away a SDJ mini spray and matching body cream with a £30 spend today.

It is ‘glitchy’ and isn’t appearing in the Offers section, but pops up at random intervals.

I’ve just spent far too long this morning messing around getting it to work, but eventually got the small body wash, shampoo and conditioner to try, together with the free gift for £34.

Once I had used my £5 reward and remembered I had cashback money sitting in PP to use for completely unnecessary purchases such as this, I only had to pay £4 on top.

I also went through TCB, but it probably won’t work as the SpaceNK site automatically adds a gift code if it decides you are worthy of the freebie.

Worth a go, maybe and the freebie would make a nice stocking filler if not keeping for yourself.

OvaHere · 09/08/2025 13:37

@IlovePond that worked out as a great deal for you.

It did @OvaHere! And the bonus is that I can always justify getting bath stuff because I do have to bathe 😹😹😹

OvaHere · 10/08/2025 08:57

@IlovePond I don't think I've ever tried anything from Elizabeth Arden. Any recommendations?

Morning @OvaHere - I am not that familiar with it, either!

I really like the green tea body lotion - it’s been around for years!

Re: The famous 8 hour cream.

I have a small tube of this on the go - I think it’s the hand cream version. It smells very medicinal to me - not really like a beauty product at all. But turns out it is excellent for dry, chapped skin and insect bites! I keep it downstairs and slap a bit on if my hands get sore or if I get a mozzie bite anywhere.

EA are pretty generous with their freebies and offers on occasion, too. I acquired my GT cream and perfume and the 8 hour cream, plus some good samples, in the winter sale.

I was talking to someone on a different board - all you beauty experts will know this already of course 😊

MrsBnow12 · 10/08/2025 10:05

@BlueLimesThe new Next boxes are quite good, I ordered the one with the Caudalie Lightweight fluid as got this is in a Space NK edit and my skin loves it on the hot weather

BlueLimes · 10/08/2025 10:10

@MrsBnow12 I've ordered it to take on holiday - so happy to hear your review.

Doubleraspberry · 10/08/2025 10:15

I love Caudalie. The soufflé moisturiser is gorgeous.

TragicMuse · 10/08/2025 12:18

I am desperately holding myself back from a Jarrolds loyalty gift - spend 100 get a gift worth 200.

My stash is ridiculous, I simply must get it under control!! Adding to it will not help!

MrsBnow12 · 10/08/2025 14:52

@BlueLimesIt is worth it to double check your box, mine was missing the cleanser so has been returned to them and they are delivering a new one tomorrow.

BlueLimes · 10/08/2025 15:00

@MrsBnow12 thank you - just picked mine up - all ok. Glad you are getting a new one.
