here's the dress it is FANTASTIC.

it's pretty late forties early fifties imo, i'm thinking that a small platform peeptoe sandal (not unlike my styleesh grandma used to wear) would be good.

i'm 5 foot 5 ish and it's skimming my lower kneecap in a modestly fifties fashion. the model in the pic will be at least 5'8 i'd have thought. buy it, there are pleats in the patch pockets! and the back is beautifully gathered with long pleats up the waist. it's a nice elongating detail imo.

All sorts, aitch - mostly stuff for various government programmes that the company I work for runs. Umm, today it's been resource efficiency followed by low-carbon cities .

STOP PRESS: i will not be wearing beads as they have a bit of an argument with the collar of the dress. if i wear anything at all it will have to be a faint little thingumajig on a chain. (not very me).
