Feel free to join in or offer suggestions.

My life would be complete with a short sleeved chocolate brown boxy fit yet fluid T-shirt.

Thick hair and thin legs, sadly it is the other way round!.

Not for now but a winter coat that is both casual, chic and warm. Waterproof but doesn't make me over heat. Covers me enough that I can wear whatever underneath without giving away if my clothes look like I just rolled out or bed but not bulky. Machine washable with huge pockets.

This might be nothing like what you’re looking for style wise but I have this and think it ticks a lot of boxes, light but warm - MASSIVE pockets, waterproof and good length. It says it’s hand wash up to 30 but think I will chance a gentle quick spin at low temp!

All the nail polishes I want, (including the discontinued ones.)

Who here knows what Snape wears in the Harry Potter films? Like that but as a dress or a jacket/skirt. With the Victorian underpinnings and boots to go with it. And an elegant brooch. And a witches hat with a veil. And a velvet cloak. And I want to go to Royal Ascot in that outfit just for the fun of it. 😎

A long black and white striped skirt with narrow vertical stripes.

I'd like a nice corset too, but can't decide between red, black or green.

Currently looking for some long sleeved cotton peasant blouses that don't cost a fortune. Can I find any? Can I heckers! I have a lovely orange one I got from TU a few years ago.

And I want to dress like a Tudor queen one day, with all the silk and velvet.

@Tiredallthetimeneedsleep have you tried M&S for jeans? They are generous size so 16 would probably work, and stretchy, I have a few pairs of Sienna straight legs that are very comfy.

TheSilentSister · 11/05/2025 23:32

Magic trousers, you can roll them up. I've been various sizes and they always fit and look good, especially with an oversized top when you're having a 'fat' day.

gollyimholly · 11/05/2025 23:37

High waisted palazzo trousers which are ankle length - and in a soft denim (texture not colour) fabric. M&S have what I want but because they're not accepting online orders (and my local one doesn't have my size or colour) I am now incomplete.

I have the sienna ones. The 16 wouldn't do up. The 18 fit perfect when I tried them on. It wasn't til I wore them the next day that I started to have the issues.

Thanks though

Not stylish or beautiful, but this one really made me smile!

some wide leg work trousers that fit really flatteringly on bum/hips then go out and cover shoes but not drag in floor.
and haven’t got an elasticated waist. im
neither a child nor a pensioner so don’t feel elastic is required!

I had a lot of luck in Abercrombie & Fitch. www.abercrombie.com/shop/uk/p/tailored-wide-leg-pant-58593413?categoryId=84945&faceout=model&seq=05&afsource=social+proofing

Don’t have to be a pensioner to like elastic waistbands! Some brands give a nice shape over tummy and hips even with elastic, or get them with the elastic at the back.

NotSmallButFunSize · 13/05/2025 17:39

Boobs that are small enough to look good in strappy summer clothes

A lovely big walk in wardrobe with a dressing table and nice lighting.

River Island. They have a bit of elastic at the back of the waistband only, but they’re such a good fit on the bum that I’m mentioning them!
