Feel free to join in or offer suggestions.

My life would be complete with a short sleeved chocolate brown boxy fit yet fluid T-shirt.

My life became more ‘complete’ once I realized I don’t need a purchase to make me feel better. It was a freeing feeling

If you really felt complete you wouldn't need to post spiky comments on style & beauty threads.

For me, I "need" (in italics for the pious), some mid heeled brown sandals with a bit of a closed toe. For summer work sandals. Not too big a heel but also definitely not a kitten heel

PoppyBaxter · 10/05/2025 15:34

A pair of Sezanne cloggs.

They would go with SO many outfits, and are perfectly smart/casual. And I've just bought a Levis 70s-style denim mini dress which they would look great with. They are so timeless and would never date.

The introduction of size 11 ☺️

And 5.75 size shoe!

CiaoMeow · 10/05/2025 16:19

A dog!

annonymousnamechange · 10/05/2025 17:12

Some jeans and trousers that are flattering for a short dumpy person. And that also magically work with a variety of tops and don't age me. I rushed to H&M to try the Adalae wide legged high waisted jeans recommended herefor short round people. I looked hideous, like a bag lady....

Historyofwolves · 10/05/2025 17:34

The introduction of a size 9
Trousers, any trousers, to flatter the flat of arse
Tan, strappy sandals that won't wear through immediately
For my feet to look a lot nicer - why are my heels permanently a purple colour?!

TotemPolly · 10/05/2025 20:15

A size 8/10 figure. Trouble is I can't be arsed to work at it !

fatgirlswims · 10/05/2025 20:18

A ganni tech festival bag and a carhart jacket and new tag heir tans some nice trainers that are comfy and stylish

Bloatstoat · 10/05/2025 20:18

A dress that doesn't make me look 6 months pregnant. I have not been pregnant for a long time, but a natural apple shape combined with diastasis recti can be disguised in trousers/skirts and the right top, but somehow not dresses. I miss a nice summer dress.

FrillySocksAndDocs · 10/05/2025 20:25

A red Vivienne Westwood dress. I'm going to shift a stone and not order any clothes in June and buy it. Until then I won't feel complete.

Oh do FO dear. Go be self-righteous somewhere else.

Very rude

Very rude

Very apt, I thought. The poster was being an arse, pissing on the parade of a nice, lighthearted thread.

The right trainer. I don't live near a store and I'm returning my 3rd try today. It's irritating.

Just the one?

monktasmic · 10/05/2025 23:13

I used to have shell tops. A lovely crepe cream one, and then in various other neutrals, to go under suit jackets / blazers.
I think I bought them in something like mango or Zara, a couple were buttoned up the back. Lovely.
now all I can find is stretchy cheap shitty shell tops.

BarleyMcGrew · 10/05/2025 23:19

Cuffed trousers. Ideally some really well cut cuffed jeans but cool cuffed trousers would be fine.

I miss these too.

A flattering shirt in cotton with a pie crust collar. No puff shoulders or frills anywhere else. Cannot find one.

A waterproof light pair of trainers for everyday that don’t hurt somewhere or look like walking shoes. Tried every make I can think of.

a petite pea coat with raglan sleeves that isn’t oversized or too fitted or too long.

a trench coat that doesn’t make me look like Inch High Private Eye.

dudsville · 10/05/2025 23:52

JaneJeffer · 10/05/2025 23:02

Just the one?

Yeah, my left foot in particular.

NameChangingGame · 11/05/2025 00:08

Replacement ‘spat’ style white and navy block heel almond toe shoes. I think I actually threw them out when I was a SAHM for a few years. Now have so much lovely navy clothes that don’t look right with black shoes.

Miss those shoes.

RosyappleA · 11/05/2025 00:35

The perfect white trainer for me which would be a smarter version of something with a bit of a platform like the nike air force 1 for example. However, comfortable also. Not like my converse or superga.

TaggieO · 11/05/2025 00:38

A strawberry blonde hair dye that isn’t orange, and doesn’t fade after 2 washes.

GarlicPile · 11/05/2025 01:29

One of those radical facelifts. And a chin lift, if it's not included. Before that I need a humungous amount of dental surgery. May as well get my nose straightened while I'm being chopped up.

Oh, and I'll need many pairs of comfortable pyjamas for the long recovery from all that surgery! Tbh, none of this would 'complete' my life, but this is S&B and that's what it would take to make me look significantly better ... Apart from that, I still haven't found a large, soft leather hobo bag in light tan at a price I can afford.

lovegoodlovegood · 11/05/2025 01:34

Next to bring back their super high rise (although I’ll take any version) hypercurve jeans Angry they fit me like they were made for me and no waist gap
i have bought every pair I can find on eBay and vinted!

A cool looking hooded raincoat or trench - kind of in style of Rick Owens. Impossible to find.

A warm beige dumpling bag which can be worn shoulder or clutch - can only find cool neutral ones that clash with my soft autumn colours.

The perfect blonzer in cream form - would love a dusty rose/medium bronze hybrid creamy one that doesn't transfer/pill.

I passed this in Asda and thought how nice it was, lovely colour. Didn't examine it closely, but now I see it has a hood!
