ChatGPT now has a feature where you can upload images and it can also generate images. Now, even if you would never in a million years upload a photo on mumsnet for a bunch of strangers to comment on, you can ask ChatGPT questions about your appearance instead.

I took a very average selfie with no makeup and no filters and with wrinkles clearly showing. I uploaded it to ChatGPT and asked it how old it honestly thought I looked. It said late 40s to early 50s. I'm early 50s so I'm happy with that.

I also asked it to give me a makeover. It put makeup on me, darkened and changed the style of my hair, neatened up my eyebrows and gave me a bit of lip filler. I'm now considering making these changes in real life! Here I am with my makeover.

I just asked Copilot, using my new passport photo. It hedged its bets, said I had a youthful charm, and estimated early 30s. I am 57 😂

Thank you so much! I'd go so far as to say I look unreal 😂. But with a fair bit of money and effort I think I could get somewhat close to that look!

Did you ask it to be honest? I should have said I asked ChatGPT to be completely honest. Not sure if that made a difference, though 🤔.

I just tried this. First time it said late 30’s early 40’s and I then asked it to be completely honest and it said 42-45. I’m actually mid 50’s. I then uploaded a different photo of me with my partner and it guessed early 50’s for me and correctly mid 50’s for him so it’s clearly been trained to flatter females 😂

It said I had a youthful vibe haha, probably because I'm in a hoody with my headphones on. I asked for a makeover and it gave me a picture of a very attractive woman that looks nothing like me 😂and also made my top super low cut which I was a bit 🤔about

I’m a sucker for this sort of thing. I’m 52, I uploaded 3 photos and it said early 40s for each. Happy with that. It also said I have great hair.

I’m now dating ChatGPT.

I didn’t know you could do this and I’ve been trying for days to work out what I would look like with a fringe as I’m contemplating getting one cut. The results were hilarious.

On the plus side it said I was early to mid thirties and I’m in my 40’s so I was happy with that. I know I look young for my age though - I get it all the time and have been mistaken for my teen sons sibling more than once.

I’m not sure if I should get a fringe now… it’s still hard to tell though because it changed my eyebrows, mouth, and nose shape too much. It kinda looked me but not, maybe a better version of me. Hahaha

It said I looked to be late 20s to early 30s. I'm 38 so I'm pleased. Wonder if it's truthful. The makeover turned me into a completely different person though. I wish I looked like that! 😂
